Horn won't work! Help

Checked the horns, fuse, did a check on the clock spring, all seem fine.
Can't seem to locate a relay. Removed the fuse panel in kick board and found nothing that looked like a relay

MINI horns ARE on a relay ... in this diagram see relay K2a ... it connects to H2b and H3b which are the two horns ...

I can't find a relay. Looked under the fuse box in the passenger side kick panel, couldn't find anything serviceable

I haven't used my horn in about eight years, I suppose I should check and see if it still works.

did you check the box under the bonnet

btw ... it IS possible that the horn(s) themselves have failed. I just had that on my ST .... alto on a MINI with two horns they are in sep' locations so less likely. BUT they are low and can get drown and then they corrode a 'freeze' .... you might want to pull the connector on one and use a meter to verify they get no juice .....

good habit to get in to

it is a bummer when you discover it don't work when you NEED IT!

with the 79 I developed the habit of checking the horn and turn signals b4 I hit the main road on any outing . . .

Bench tested horns one was bad and replaced.
i have no power to the horns. Suspicious of a relay, but can't find one, looked behind passenger fuse panel, no luck. All the ones under the bonnet seem to be dedicated to engine functions. I do not hear a click when horn is engaged.

what can I tell ya

the wiring diagram in the link clearly shows a relay and earlier cars GEN1 and GEN2 hardtop had relay

systems without a physical relay have the main computer serve the function (headlamps, fogs etc) ... you could try the 'reset' procedure

seems like no one with the gen2 bentley wants to help out
