Do not put small items in the barn door storage area!!!!

Long story short i made the big time mistake of putting a handful of change in the left barn door storage area. Said change has slid under the plastic in the door and is now sliding around in the door "under" the storage shelf. Can anyone offer advice on how to get it out ?

I recently had my rear door handles replaced (blacked out), to access them the inside panels had to be removed. This was a relatively easy process. The inside panels just pop off. You just need the ca-hones to make it happen. I'm not sure if there is a how to thread on this anywhere but maybe it's about time? If I recall there are about 6 plastic snaps and you just need to pull the panel straight off. Good luck. If you don't want to do it yourself or need some more encouragement contact Lyle at Vinyl Styles. He is the guy who did the work on my car. He is a great guy and he would probably be happy to help you.

Just want to say thanks for the warning. Haven't stuck change in there yet, but it was probably just a matter of time. Good luck with the panels.

Never done that, but I have lost a few quarters out of my front pocket and had them end up in the well under the driver's seat. Had to listen to them slide back and forth for a month or two until I pulled the seat out one day. After I fished the quarters out, I taped around the edges of the cover with black gaffer tape....

I have managed to retrieve $.75 thus far. Im guessing there is about $.16 remaining. At least the sliding change sound around every twist and turn is alot less audible now.
