Instructions for c-pillar removal/installation?

Does anyone happen to have the instructions to remove/install the c-pillars on the clubman? I have the instructions for the bottom piece along the bumper so I'm really just looking for the top 4 pieces.

It seems pretty simple with visible screws, but I want to make sure there aren't any hidden bolts or clips anywhere.

Anyone have them? Thanks for the help

Indeed. It's been a work in progress for months, but it's finally ready to be installed

I guess I only really need instructions for the top two pieces or any installation experience stories if anyone has them.

Rally you better be posting pics
Check out some the stickies on the NAV/Audio section, they might help you for the C-pillars.

I definitely will once they're all installed

Those are for the interior c-pillars, right? I guess I should mention that I'm looking to change out the exterior c-pillars...the contrasted color parts that are either black or silver.

Rally,

As i have not done this i can not be 100% sure but from the parts diagrams it looks like there is only four bolts and no other clips on each side.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...97&hg=51&fg=20

It does look like you will have to remove the trim from directly above the door opening gaskets but i believe that comes off without having to take the third brake light off. Then once that is off take out the four torx bolts (one at the bottom of the pillar cover and then three that go along the barn door opening.

The other side that meets the side windows may have some tabs on it to hold it in place but there do not seem to be any removable/replaceable clips. It may just swing off once the bolts are removed.

Also i do not remember seeing any screw from the inside when i had the internal c-pillar covers off.

Thanks for the input schatzy It's good to hear that there isn't a screw from the inside.

The top piece just has some screws and something that appears to clamp onto the glass? That shouldn't be too hard to handle.

Guess it's a pretty straight forward install. My clearcoat is still curing, but I should be able to get these installed soon.
