R&R: '02 R50 Rear Brake Pads & Rotors

a) starting to grind when I stop - so I'm thinking it's time to replace them. I bought the car used, so I don't know their age. No sensor light though.

b) looking for instructions online. Can someone point me in the proper direction. I'm probably going to replace the pads & rotors as well.

Thanks.

I recently did front and rear brakes on my Justa. Used Centric rotors, and Akebono pads. Real easy to do, and there are many tutorials on line. Bentley manual is a must have (procedures, torque settings, etc).

if brakes are as far as you plan to go the Bentley is an over priced dictionary

even the HAYNES will get you farther than you'll probably want to go maint' wise for a fraction of the cost.

I've been maintaining MINIs for folks since 2003 with nothing more than HAYNES and my 'auto shop' textbook from the early 70's . . . .
