R55 What are you paying?
What are you paying?
I'm getting ready to get serious about ordering a Clubman S. for fall delivery.
What discounts did you get or what is the dealer throwing in?
Someone told me they paid sticker and another told me a much different story.
Also, when will the model year change? and any word on a Clubman D?

Most of us are paying MSRP on the Clubmans, usually with mats or other minor items thrown in. There are a ton of threads on these topics, probably within the first two pages. Most are expecting the 09s in Sept. Time for reading...

Get ready for bad news...
MSRP is the norm for the Clubman.
Rarely do you get any discount.
$4 gas is only causing some dealers to add profit on top of that.
Some buyers are able to get free floor mats or bonnet stripes.
I paid MSRP, ordered what I wanted and am happy.
Clubman D? No word on possible US sales.

Paid MSRP in Massachusetts and managed to get free sport stripes due to dealer error.
From what I've read, the Clubman D doesn't meet California emission standards and therefore won't be sold in the US.

$500 off. Free Mats of my choice and free stripes. I did well, but I bought two minis and gave them a check. No financing. Easy and quick. You can get some off. My original deal was $0 off and only mats. Worked them for a $1000 total and $600 worth of stripes.

In NC, paid MSRP for the first time ever, and we've bought 9 new cars in 25yrs. This was really hard for my husband, but we/I love this car THAT much. We haven't had anything thrown in for free yet, kinda hoping on a little love when we go for delivery.
Where you might have some negoiciating power is with your trade. Most stealerships will try try to low ball your trade. Profit is a dirty word I know. But if if you have a fair price above KBB in mind stick to it and be prepared to walk out if they dont agree. They want full MSRP from you why not give a little more than dealer whole sale trade for you car.
