Very cool - what type of camera are you using? DSLR?

 

You bet, a simple ol' NikonD40 but it takes the most amazing pictures! My undergraduate was photography so I had top of the line cameras but I don't do much photography anymore....all hobby.

I have to say for the price it is one helluva camera, plus gives the options of added lenses. I've had a blast taking clean, crisp pictures of my new baby

A fisheye lens is a extremely wide angle lens that is used for its effects...here's an explanation that might be helpful http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/105fe.htm or did you mean which particular lens was Lauren using?

which fisheye lens is that? If i had to guess i would think one of the older nikkor none-DX lens. but the focal length shows to be 32mm so I'm stumped. maybe a fisheye converter on the kit lens?

I have a d70 with the 16mm and i don't get the vignetting like seen in your photos.

You got it, its a simple converter thats screwed onto main lens. Just an Opteka HD 0.22x AF Fisheye for my Nikon SLR. I wanted to play around to see what results I could get. Also looking into the lensbabies since I've heard they are fun!
