EZ Pass mounting.....

So I have both the ugly white pass (that sticks to window) and the license plate black mount. Both are NOT attractive and I'm looking to find other mounting options for my Clubman. Trying to figure out a cob-job mount under the hood or behind the grill. Anyone have any good suggestions that actually work and the pass reads (NY ezpass)??

I know this is being super picky but I really don't like the pass mounted in view...just chunky and unattractive in my gorgeous MINI!

I am not sure what the license plate mount is you are talking about, but I think I can help with the toll pass mount. I like this mount because of different color options/styles, uses a suction cup, and it holds my NAM Spotter Cards. Check out the following website.

On my 2004 MCS with sunroof, my EZPass is mounted with the velcro on the underside of the rear, non-moving sunroof. Discreet and works fine, although it is not an approved location according to EZPass.

Tim, ....your sillier!

I know, my hubby is having the best time picking on me with this new car! I've never been so picky

But Miss MINI is a work of art (as my Dad says) so trying to keep her looking purty! I'me VERY much an artist so every detail counts

And FYI, not looking for "approved" mounts but people who have hidden theirs somehow and its worked!

You can always just remove it when you don't need it. I know they're ugly - and I always seem to put mine on so it's crooked, too!

+1. Both our MINI's have them mounted there with no problems at all.

+2. The plate mount simply was unreliable. A couple of Garden State tolls never see it and the Pennsylvania toll out on 78 never saw it no matter what lane I was in and they have gates there so it was a real pain. For a year it has been behind my head on the back sunroof glass with absolutely no problem.

I used black duct tape on my wief'e EZ Pass. The only thing that shows are the 2 small strips from the velco tape. My thought is that you can buy black velcro tape and use that along with the black duct tape

x3. mine is double-sided taped to the very front edge of my rear sunroof underneath the black border so it is not visible from the outside. since it's tucked away in the ledge it is also not visible from inside either. asking passengers to locate the ezpass is a fun game.
