Hoping for a little help. Have a 2008 base that had water come in through the sunroof apparently resulting in a no spark condition. Dealer wrote it up as a corrosion on the JBE behind the passenger side kick panel? Looking at my Bentley the JBE doesn't seem to control the spark but does have a fuel pump relay. It had fuel pressure when I checked. Could this module effect the ecu relating in a no spark condition? Perhaps current passes through here onto the ecu?
If this is likely the problem I will find a used JBE and toss it in. Correct me if I am wrong but it doesn't seem like this has to be coded to the car.
Also, what does JBE stand for?
Thanks very much in advance.

So looks like the passenger side fusebox is suspect. A few of the pins actually came off in the connector when I removed it. A used one is on the way. For anyone who may have a similar issue there are several fuse boxes...make sure you match the part number from the side if buying a used one. Still unclear if this has to be coded to the car, hoping it doesn't.
Sunroof drain hose was the root of the water. It had completely come undone.
Sure, they are in the upper front corners behind the A pillars. Remove the visor and the top rolls headliner can be pulled back to access them. There is one in each corner of the sunroof. A few youtube vids out there. I would unplug the battery as the air bag is near by.
Seems basically the same on gen 1 and gen 2. The drain hoses are not clamped....it could be good preventative to secure them with clamps or zip ties.
Glad you got it sorted. And for the record JBE stands for junction box electronics Side note on the other side of car is the footwell module suspectiable to same water damage as there is a drain on that side also. Sent from my iPhone using NAMotoring
