Help diagnose coolant leak

My 2010 MCS with 65k miles is losing coolant very slowly. There are no drips on the garage floor and the cooling system easily passes a pressure test. A quick review of this forum suggests the usual suspects are water pump and thermostat housing. Can anyone offer tips on telling where the fluid is going?

Most likely thermostat housing. From the reading I've done, slow leak that collects on top of the transmission..

+1 Its all here. Been there and done all of this myself. We were the first to mention the pooling effect.

At first you can get a small hairline crack at the bottom of the thermostat that leak a couple drips on to the transmission, ( why u cant find it ) , then after a while it pools and then drips down the back.

+1. Yes, it is common to pool on top of the transmission. Check out the water pump as well and look around the system for any signs of seepage/leaking. I've seen a water pump as early as 50k. There is a good DIY here on NAM for the thermostat and the OP posts some info about mileage for when his thermostat and water pump went. Thermostat here if needed. Let us know what you find.
