Sidewalk seat have heating elements?

Read on another post that seats with heating elements have 2 black connectors, I looked under my newly acquired Sidewalk and sure enough there are 2 connectors, one with nothing attached:

Could this mean that they have the elements but not the switches and harness?

(the car came from California but as a Chicagoan, I would appreciate heated seats!)

Yep, that what i would think. Dont forget you can get the add on hotter or cooler seat inline wire when you get the kit. Its extra. I have the hotter wire.

You have the heated seats which I felt like they are warm, but not as warm as my older BMW, so I went with the hotter seat wire upgrade and they get nice and warm. Some people think the stock seats get too hot (never had heated seats before), so they got the cooler ones. Back in the day MINI had this as most cars in the US (not just MINIs) did not have heated seats, it was rare and lots of people complained so MINI had these Technical service bulletins wire upgrades.

I dont have a measurement on the temps, but its easy to pop them in and out. Its an add on to the heated normal seat upgrade/option.
