What's in your "Top-Down" Soundtrack?
I know all of you have that song that comes on when you're driving on that perfect day, on the perfect road with the top down that just makes you say, "yeah, life is good." I think we all need to share our favorite tunes so that the soundtrack is always right for our motoring experiences. I tend to like Jazz, Electronic, or something that doesn't quite fit a category, but there are those tried and true Rock tunes that fit the moment too.
I'll start with a couple:
Pursuit of Happiness by Weekend Players
Back on the Chain Gang by The Pretenders
Colour by Atjazz

I just got my ipod dock to input jack adaptor and I think it does sound better than the audio input to headphone jack, so I enjoyed some Miles Davis (Kind of Blue and Birth of the Cool) and Mozart (Symph. 40 & 41). Works pretty well (the songs and the cable setup)

Lol Ridingfar, I can just imagine you playing that while swooping down on some blue haired old lady driving her buick at 15mph under the speed limit!
Low Rider - excellent cruising tune
Ok, yesterday I listened to:
Boston - Third Stage
Queen - various stuff
Aerosmith - (Sweet Emotion brings back some good memories
)
Bach and some Handel Water Music (try it while driving slowly through a tree covered road
)
Sublime - a few fav songs in there including Caress Me Down
Yeah, it was a sunny day, lots of time to listen and drive with the top down.

Sweet dance/trance stations for those XMers out there!
Xm fungus has some ska if you guys wanna check it out
Theres lotsa different ska "waves" there called but if you guys wana check out some 3rd wave or punk ska check out Sell out by Reel Big Fish and if you wanna check out more original check out two tone Army by the Toasters
and just as a side note ska is known for its use of checkerboard patterns symbolizing unity (the mix of black and white)
