You guys sure were right about the attention that the Mini gets as you motor around....I picked the new baby up this morning and took her around all day and, man, the looks I was getting! I picked up my mom first and then went to pick up my grandmother to take her for a spin...she lives in a retirement community and there was a man outside who looked like he could have been in his late eighties/early nineties or so.....he LOVED my car....came over and thoroughly checked it out and everything! My mom was never keen on me getting one....and then she was the one asking me to drive it home!

The Mini sure does make people smile! :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

I have thought the same thing! I like to substite "motor on" instead of "let's motor."

 

Ok....I posted two crappy pictures.....crappy because they are in the parking garage at my work and also because it was completely gross out yesterday as you can tell by the quality of light I had.....also my friend is a bad photographer and the digital camera totally added 10 pounds....

Anyway, you get the idea....that's my new baby!

Glad your wait is over! I took my Mini S down to a Harley meeting place last weekend. When I was in the bar this 6'5"" or so very large black man with a crome motorcycle helmet came in and asked to the bar, "Who's Mini Me?" I had to raise my hand and say he's mine. The gentlemen then walked up to me and said, "Do you think I could look at him and sit in him?" Turns out he is originally from London and has lived in the states for the last 20 years! He loved the car! It was kindof funny watching that giant of a man sit in my Minil.
