The AUstin Powers spy car in Austin Powers 3 is an Indi Blue Cooper with a Union Jack wrapped from the roof all the way down the sides of the doors....fabulous!!! Watching that MINI in a chase scene making those hairline turns like it was on rails made me even more excited for my baby to arrive!! Did anyone else see the movie debut of the new MINI? What did you think?
Awaiting a Chili Red Cooper with white roof, mirrors and wheels. Currently aboard the Adia...docking this week in NY!! Too bad it doesn't come with a watch like Austin Powers' dad that can becon it whenever I want!!

I too am waiting on a chili red cooper S with white top/mirrors/ and wheels. I loved the mini in AP3. it was so cool!

 

If you visit carvogue.co.uk you can purchase the AP3 Unionjack stripe kit for any Indi blue MINI and have a AP3 lookalike. However, I don't think they offer the submarine option.

Oh jeez. I ordered a chili red S with white roof, mirrors & rims. Then I saw AP3 and freaked out when I saw Nigel Powers' MINI. I loved it! I wanted it! Now there is a stripe kit for it. Do I change my order? I have until September to make any changes before the car is built. Decisions, decision.

You should get the Indi Blue one!!! But Indi Blue isn't available on the S until December...

I wrestled back and forth between Indi Blue and Chili Red for 2 weeks before placing my order for the Chili Red. So, switching back to indi blue and getting this stripe kit is tempting. I wouldn't mind the wait. My dealer told me not to expect my MINI until November. I might be able to hold out a couple of more months. Of course, the stress of waiting might force to me start smoking again.

 

I know what you mean! I couldn't decide between Chili Red and Indy Blue either! Thankfully my Mini is about two days away from arriving on the Avia so it's too late for me to change my mind!! Although...if I knew about the Union Jack a la AP3 option...I may have made a different decision. I know I will have no regrets once I take a look at my new MINI!!
