If you own a Blue/white MINI anywhere near this place you will prob. be getting a visit from the boys in blue.

There can't be that many in the area - if they got a partial plate # then this guy is $cewed

Where is Sugar Land? Is this in Texas? Anyone on NAM who knows who the individual driving the MINI was, needs to IMMEDIATELY contact the authorities.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: If you want to race, go to the race track where it is safe and legal!

Yes, it is in Texas!! I drive an IB/W but I'm way up here in D/FW. Creepy. Minis used to be such lovable, benign little cars...why do some owners make them into monsters. It is, I admit, a sick obeservation, but I could sure see a situation where a Scion would lose control and a MINI not.

We all know it....this behavior is utterly, horribly unacceptable. I feel very sad for the families the innocent couple...they might have children that now are parentless. This is so unnecessary and absolutely stupid.

Anyone involved should take responsibility for their actions.

This is a very sad story.

Whoever you are that was driving the Blue/White, be a man and apologize
to the families of the couple that was in the Camry. You owe them
that much. (well, probably more, but you need to show some
respect and remorse).

I am sure you are a good person and wasn't trying to endup this way,
but now you have to do the right thing and come out. Go to the
police, only you can make it better.

Sadly, a MINI does not automatically make the owner more responsible.

Its a sad story, and I sure hope the PD did enough to prove racing so if this person is caught they are held responsible, but they'll need a lot more than "Blue MINI" "was seen" to prove thier case. Also remember the Scion driver paid with his life. Like it was aid before take it to the track (which costs less than seeing a movie) and race safely where others anren't endangered.

Goddamn it! Stupid ***! No street racing in MINIs please. Those who street race get SMOKED on a track, because the reality of it is street racers DONT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE fast.

Plus they kill poor innocent people.

Very stupid.

Awful stuff going on now a days with young punks and their "too much of a fast car for them to handle", this aint Need For Speed. The numbers are growing fast here in Montreal for Street Race deaths...

Maybe people should see more of these in order for them to realize how much life is worth...below is a clip that was released by the parents of this driver...it went on as a commercial, music video and film...and a close friend of my family...

Whoever you are man, you better show your face because the more you hide the worse it gets on your part.

I hope they find this scumbag(s) and make them pay with exemplary punishment. The time has come for law enforcement in this country to excercise an "Iron fist" approach toward these irresponsible cowards killing innocent people.

Life in prison and take away their driving license for life should be the very least police should do.

I will add my two cents and echo many here already: GO TO THE TRACK! Maybe we need a sticker of sorts for the back window, "I'll prove you at the track!" or something like that.

Many times I have been on my way or on my way home and been engaged by a Scion driver (it's always a scion driver???). I always laugh and let them rip it up at the line, I won't race anyone. I don't have anything to prove. I like my MINI and know what it will do, I don't need to prove it to anyone else. I guess it's the less expensive vehicles that feel they have to prove their way on the roads.

Take it to the track boys and girls, then no one gets hurt.

Not a MINI but it has been that kind of weekend around here; another one where the survivor sped off.

Also a had a suburban roll three time and loose a roof 5 casualties, cause of accident is still unknown. Take the racing to the track and be careful out there.

Not true, but innocent are far less likely and if something haappens dds oare you come out better because EMTs are already on scene, plus its legal: but it is not risk free, anyone that drives ought to know that.

Yeah, hopefully, I'll be okay. I just feel sad because they might cite me for modifications if they stop me...
