Today is the day!

I am so excited I woke up at 4:00 am, you would think it's my fisrt time. I'm so hyped and I don't drink coffee (thank goodness). At 10:00 am this morning I will be at MINI of Towson picking up my brand new S.
I sold Chilly ***** on Wednesday, and as much as that hurt, I knew that my new baby was sitting in the showroom waiting for me.

The only downer is that it is raining so I can't stick my head out of the window like a dog, but I'm sure it will be a thrill all the same.

I new this would be the place where everyone would remember their first time (no pun intended). I'll share pics once the rain ends.

With check in hand I go to claim my bounty.

Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Nice Lolo...let us know how it goes! I can see your MINI has done a good job of casting its spell upon you...crazy how these cars get to us. Of course it's all perfectly understandable.

I'm Back...

but it's still raining. I want to go outside and play with her so bad. Everything went smoothly and as usually the folks at MINI of Towson treated me and my family really well.

I thought since this was the second time around I would not get all emotional... but I did. When Evan/MA took me to see her all I could say was that she was gorgeous. It seemed nothing looked more beautiful at that moment.

Even my husband started talking about wanting one as well.

I came home wanting to express how happy my car makes me, but I am truly at a loss for words.

Thank you all for your warm wishes. I think I need to go to the store . We need something I just haven't figured it out yet. New motoring adventures await.

This thread just made me crack.

I want a MINI so bad now. I wanna punch/break something.

Congrats. Btw, what color? If you say hyper blue I guarantee I'll break something. I can only handle so much.

Astro Black

Kyle,
Not Hyper Blue - Astro Black. She's parked in the driveway but after the rain she looks a fright. I would love to show pictures but if the car could talk she would say, don't take my picture I'm having a bad hair day.

On Thursday she goes to get her tint job.

Her features include:
DSC
Fog lights (front and back)
Cold weather package
Space grey cloth seats ( looked a lot better than I imaginged)
Anthracite trim
Manual transmission (of course 6 speed)

That's all I can think of right now.

I love it. I hope yours comes in soon, mine only took a month and I was shocked. My first MINI took 3 months.

Only a month? Awesome. I was expecting a two month wait at the very least.

Btw, your specs sound awesome.
