Saw my first today

A shabby Mini, that is. Looked as if it had been parked outside and not washed in months. Plastic trim badly oxidized. Major curb rash on wheels and tires. Multiple door dings and bumper scrapes. Broken front turn signal. Filthy interior full of fast food wrappers and random dirty clothing. A sad case of Mini-neglect.

Call the cops if it was this stolen MINI if not, then you are obliged to call Mini Protective Services.

This sicko probably chains his MINI to a tree and goes out once daily just to kick it in it's sides.

It's my dream to have my Mini filled with fast food wrappers and smelling like Mcdondalds!

But the outside all dusty and dirtied up? No way!

a million bucks this car was bought by some happless parent trying to buy the affection of a child or a husband who bought it for his wife trying to get back into the big bed. I have run accross both demographics in my travels.........the eventual owners just don't get it. Jock

...And was it drinking cheap low-octane out of a paper bag? So sad... a MINI is a terrible thing to waste!

Is there even still cheap fuel available?

It is VERY hard to imagine anyone insensitive enough to neglect a MINI!

We need to come up with a citation to slip under the wiperblades of miscreant MINI owners! Give them a ticket for being a disgrace to MINIdom, the dummies!

I agree, Pehraps the offender does fall into one of these demographics, however I guarantee, beyond a shadow of doubt, that this person did not pay for the car with thier own money

I have yet to see anyone who pays thier own cash for a brand new car proceed to abuse it with such harshness

Luckily I've never seen a MINI in that bad of shape or I would have waited for the idiot to come out and called MINI 911 on their a$$.

I can't go more then 2 weeks without washing my MINI ... I can't go more then 2 months without a good wax.

It's hard to hear about these neglect stories. May the MINI Gods protect it from any further harm.

You-ification to an extreme...

Yes, it's sad.

But isn't it likely that this poor MINI is as much an example of evolutionary you-ification (the mystical convergence of owner and car over time) as the stunning rides we see in these forums every day?

I'll foster the neglected

MINI until a suitable owner can be found. I just built my first MINI, Hot Orange MCSC, can't wait to get it. I need something to tie me over till it arrives.

Sounds like the typical car maintained by a College student.
Or

A courier...

Dad would not be happy if he saw what his College student was doing with his MINI.
