if only! My son helped me name it before the new wheels went on. He loved the show ‘Bluey’, so it’s named Bandit, after the dad in the show. Which I think is freaking perfect!

Nice shoes! The calipers look like they only have about 2mm of clearance from that camera angle, without perspective it's hard to tell, how much space do they actually have in there? I assume you ran the balance weights along the inner edge of the barrel just in case. Did you remove the center caps intentionally or did they come that way?

what's up folks, im in an arrangement to purchase 15x7 =41 offset enkei rpf1. I have a 88 HF, at the present time it has SI front knuckles with 11" rotor and wilwood calipers. Does anybody here on HT be aware without a doubt in the event that the wheels will clear the wilwood calipers? I've attempted my companion's mugen rnr with the spec: 15x6.5 +45 offset, however the spokes raising a ruckus around town. On the off chance that anybody know, pls help soon. Much obliged folks

Sorry to tell you, but those wheels don't fit.

Looks like the wheels stick out a good inch past the fenders.

I noticed that too, but it's hard to say because he's running tires with a 45 aspect ratio, which is giving him more space between the tire and the fender lip. It does look like it would rub, however because of the 8" wheel width plus the 225 tire width, my bet is that the fronts rub somewhere under turning, the rear set may not rub at all. Not sure if he's running spacers or not, either way it's hard to tell from just looking at jpg's. I'm sure @Zonked will tell us the score sometime soon

No need to apologize. I’m not saying the wheels fit, I’m showing how they fit on the car with stock suspension.

The tire extends half an inch beyond the fender. The ‘tread’ on the R888R is just within the fender.

I’ve only put approximately 50 miles on the car with this set up, but there is no rubbing. Lock to lock turning is clear and all bumps have cleared without issue. The small wheel offset gives plenty of room behind the wheel to clear suspension, and the smaller tire diameter seems to give plenty of room to clear the fenders. I’ve seen some folks run 225/40 or 215/40 to give more clearance on lowered suspension, fwiw.

Brake clearance is TIGHT. The front calipers fit without issue, but there’s 1mm clearance between caliper and wheel at the closest point. I bed the brakes with these wheels on, so it’s all run at temp and clears fine.

There are no spacers being run here. For me, this is a track only wheel/tire set up. I’ll be happy to provide updates after I run my first track day.

Front suspension clearance.

I hit some of this in the reply above. The caliper clearance is really tight on the front/outside edge of the caliper. Spacers would increase clearance here. The caliper clears with about 3mm on the top. The wheel weights are more towards the middle/inner edge and clear without problem.

For whatever reason, the 15x8 RPF1 doesn’t include center caps.
