Tool to press in rear lower control arm bushing

Hi,

I managed to remove my old worn out lower control arm bushing and am now trying to install a new one. Can anyone recommend a tool to install it in place? I didn't see a rental tool that looked suitable at my local Auto Zone. I tried making one with some bolts and a some plumbing fixtures but it's not working that great.

There are some tools on Amazon. I've been meaning to buy a kit but I just haven't yet.

What tool are you talking about? To be clear I'm talking about the rear bushing on the front suspension. It looks like this tool might do it, but I'm not sure if it can be used without pulling the subframe.

Like this procedure?
ModMini has a good video and improvised tool (0:26 in the timeline), solution for pressing in powerflex CAB while on the car (without removing the subframe) - (2:43 in the timeline).

I did not realize you were working on the rear bushings of the front control arms. That tool on ECS you linked looks very interesting to me (I'm a tool junkie) but I was planning on doing like ModMini does in the video @Here2Go posted for the rear bushings on the front control arms. Whenever I get around to that.

BTW: I will be doing the dreaded subframe drop and complete refresh on my R53 frontend in a few weeks.
In preparation; I spent the afternoon getting acquainted with the subframe removal at a local salvage yard.
I managed to score a pair of control arm brackets so I could pre-press in my powerflex control arm bushings ahead of time and just bolt them on at the time of the refresh procedure.
Here's my improvised "press":

The powerflex bushings appear to be much easier to press in than the OEM one I bought.

If you're still in a position to install powerflex = I would highly recommend it (from what I've read. "Once and done").

A set of power flex bushes is about the same price as the specialty tool, so that's what I decided to go with.
