Nope....Have faith. I was built in December and suppose to get my MINI in January, and now it is mid Feburary, still a member of the January Club also.

LIke Mini Rolls, my Mini was built in December too. It has had a very long journey, but it is in good company with Mini Rolls' mini on the Hercules Leader. It will arrive in California one month and 16 days after it was completed. Waiting has been excruciating, but seeing everyone's posts every day has made the time go easier. So I've been in both the January and February Clubs. Hope that's okay.

HOW EMBARASSING -- They know my voice at ASKMINI -- Called minutes ago and James greeted me by name, even before I gave any info. My only clue (though a big one) was "Today's the Day," said in a gleeful tone. Status changed late yesterday to 155 (Out of Production.)

I have never yet called MINIUSA; I found out everything about my new MINI from the owners lounge and the ship tracking sites.

What more could I learn from MINIUSA? Will they be able to tell me where the CARMEN is?

Just went to owners lounge and now it knows that my MINI is "en route"; so I hope that means that CARMEN is not still stuck in Southampton docks :smile:

I hope I got ahead by having to have waited since mid March of 02.

My order finally made it in the first week of Dec 02. When did your order go in?

 

Well the Hercules Leader has slid a day and is now due into Port Hueneme on the 29th......

The original challenge was I think 8000, then changed to 9000, no I think we can hit 10000 views before next Friday and be 1000 ahead a month before we close the doors and shut off the lights.

We also need only about 30 posts to exceed the posts for the January Club.

Ahhh man ... I don't have a MINI either and I'm leading the darn thing! There have been several people offer an extra seat and I always have room for another!

Has it transited the Panama Canal yet? That could definately be the hold up. Last time I transited the Canal I was on a Coast Guard Cutter and we still had to wait 12 hours before we could begin our transit....

My poor baby landed in Charleston, SC on Wednesday and apparently is still sitting on the docks. Called 1-866-ASK-MINI, and the said she should be moving to the VPC sometime today or tomorrow... Damn, this wait is killing me!!!!

Got an estimated delivery date of 1/29/2003 from the OL today. How is this possible with the Carmen only scheduled to arrive on the 28th? I think I will be lucky if I see it by Valentine's Day. Well, it's only a 3-4 hour drive from New York to Philadelphia so you never know!

Not to be too enthuisiastic, but any fellow TOSCA voyagers tried to track the ship? WW site shows that it has depareted from Germany on its way to the UK. I'm not sure if I'm getting the vessel's call sign correct (S6AN) or even getting the right ship on the USCG site (the only freight ship listed) - can't track it on the accu-weather page . Maybe because it hasn't hit the Atlantic yet, eh?
