The Vergo Leader made it to the West Coast! The online tracking still doesn't show the ship made it here but miniusa.com said estimated delivery date of 3-28-05. That's this Monday. How many of you guys got your cars on the estimated date?

Mine was on the Virgo Leader as well. My estimated delivery date is 3/25/05. I expect to have it by the 2nd of April. I can't wait!!!!

 

Did you dealer tell you the April 2nd date? I'll call mine in the morning and see what they say.

 

No... that's the date I'm imposing on myself. I am getting the JCW suspension and intake, so I figure I will give the dealership (Irvine Mini) a few days to get all the prep/install work done. Plus, I'm waiting for two large checks to come in the mail so that I don't have to fool around with the trade-in vehicle (the dmv sort of forgot to send the title to the vehicle in question. That will come in another month. I would rather sell it to Carmax than trade it in.)

Carmax . That's my last resort if my 2004 Escape doesn't sell in about a month using the Autotrader and local paper. I owe trade-in on it so I hope it goes okay. I don't want to have 2 car payments longer then one month.

 

Aww... the Carmax we went to gave us a fair price for my dad's '98 CR-V (he donated it to me to use as a down payment for the Mini.) Unfortunately, the DMV's failure to send all of the paperwork to me on time has created a large snag.. so it looks like I have to use cash for the Mini down payment, and sell the CR-V when the title appears in the mail. No big deal. I would rather sell it to Carmax than go through the hassle of doing it myself in Autotrader. Older CR-V's aren't exactly hot sellers.

 

I have an Estimated Delivery Date Of 27/3/05 picking Merlin up on the 4th April

 

My dealer is saying it's still on the boat. I said the miniusa site said 3-28 and he said the car isn't even off the boat yet. So he's telling me second week of April.............

 

Finally picked up my MINI today! DS/B with a tint on the windows. It looks fantastic and drives fantastic. It's frustratingly tough to keep it under 4500rpm. I'll post some pictures when I get home from work.

I checked the Owners Lounge and my MINI is AT THE DEALER!

Yesterday, it was AT THE VPC, but I know there's a lag in updates. Those estimated delivery dates sure are strange... Mine has been 3/29/05 until today, now it's 3/25/05.

If I'm supposed to pick it up two days ago, I need 1.21 GW of electricity and enough road to get up to 88 mph!

Hopefully, it'll be ready to pick up next weekend. All of the dealer installed accessories need to be done, and I have decided to go ahead with the JCW Package. (The dealer assured me several times that I could keep all of my old parts. We'll see...)

Looks like I'll be the last person in this thread to pick up my MINI, but it's worth it not to buy "off the rack".

Nope, me and Rye are going to be the last peeps. The elektra docked in SC took off but the WW site says it didn't get off the ship, I had an EDD on the first, but now I don't know, I am scared and pissed. I have to wait till monday to call assk mini, and then call Julie.

Nope, I'm with you as well. Looks mine is finally reaching the dealer tomorrow and I'll be flying to Texas to pick it up on Friday. Its really been a long wait! Enjoy the JCW pack!

BTW--has anyone heard about the Bluetooth kit for the 2005 builds? My dealer is reporting that its still not avail. Anyone hear different?

 

I too will be picking up my MINI on Friday April 1. It has been at the dealer since March 17. I tried to get it on the 19th, but they couldn't get it ready in time and since I live 300 miles away and my schedule sucks I had to wait. It has been KILLING me!

It will all be worth it though!

So, if you see a guy with a huge grin driving a new HB/W Cooper in KC next weekend-it'll be me :smile:

Well.... don't think anyone had this problem:
Called my dealer today to see if my MINI was there and ready to pick up this Friday, given OL had the delivery date of 3/27 Sunday, and the dealer had my VIN in their inventory as received but no car on the lot!! (!) OL even has it as "At the Dealer"!

So now they are scrambling to find it. Hopefully they didn't drop it off somewhere accidently.
You'd think with all this tracking everyone should know where it is, but it looks like my MINI has wheels of its own...

 

WTF?!!! I would be freaking out if I were you. Mine started with 3-28 for the delivery day, then got pushed back to 3-29 and now to 3-31. I sure hope my car isn't one of the ones that got the roof smashed like in this thread. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ibution+center

 

They found it! Dealer said that it "arrived" today. Not sure from where, but its mine and its waiting for me!
Thanks for the link, I remember those pics. I'll need to ask to make sure there was no damage for mine.

 

Oh NO!!! Any word yet? Did they have any excuses?? Hopefully this will be settled quickly with LOTS and LOTS of freebies (like maybe a JCW kit lol) to apologize! Good luck on a speedy recovery!

Mine is headed to the VDC soon... hopefully they will not do that to me too!
