That's probably the one, I finally got a hold of the Sales Manager and she said the ETA given to her was arrival at Port Hueneme on 2/19. However they didn't give her the name of the ship it was on.

After some research I found out that WW still ships out to Port Hueneme but the NYK-Line company overseas those shipments. Because of this you can't track the VIN on the WW website even tho they are on their boats.

Knowing the schedule it looks like it's on the Falstaff, which left South Hampton on 1/28 and is arriving in Port Hueneme on 2/19. The call sign is SLCO and can be tracked with this link if anyone else is in the same boat.

I have gone somewhat crazy trying to find out which boat my MINI is on. My MA said it would arrive at Port Hueneme on 2/19 but also said that it left Southampton on 1/25. I think that date must be wrong because I could only find one car carrier leaving Sothampton that date and that was the Madame Butterfly going to NYC and down to Brunswick, GA. Maybe it is the Falstaff. I guess we need a bill of lading number to confirm it. I wonder why WW wasn't handling the administrative aspects of that ship?

Yep, that's what my link at the bottom of my last post was, a hard link to the call sign of the Falstaff. Based on when MiniUSA updated the status of the car as "in transit" (1/29) and when the Falstaff left the port (1/28) and it's due date at Port Hueneme (2/19), it's too much of a coincidence to not be the boat it's on.

Well, now it'll be a few weeks of refreshing my Falstaff link, look how far it's gone so far.

 

Looks like I might not be on the Don Juan now. When I checked WW's tracking, I get the no tracking information message. But ASK MINI says I'm enroute, so I'm on a ship somewhere.

 

My MA said my MINI wil be arriving in SC tomorrow!! (I have no idea what ship it was on -- it wasn't a WW ship)She said it will probably be at the dealership by the 10th! (A five day turn around from VDC) I can pick up my car in days!! :smile:

 

Does anybody have any updates from thier MA on the late month build date west bound traffic? Most of the east coast is covered with known ship tracking but us westerners are out here hanging and frankly I'm getting frustrated not knowing anything.

On the WW site, I was listed on the Don Juan until a day or two after it sailed - now the website doesn't have any tracking info on it. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

I did (see a few posts up :smile. I emailed my MA after that occurred and he said sometimes the WW tracking stuff isn't that accurate. He also made it sound like it was still on the Don Juan. I'm not sure if he actually knows though because he said my mini would be in the US by 2/6, but I think the Don Juan is not due to be in Charleston until 2/9. So basically I'm more confused now then before

 

I was listed as scanned at terminal or something, and showed a voyage on the Don Juan. It never actually said I was loaded on the ship though. It now says I'm on the Otello though. That ship arrives in Newark on the 9th.

My car will be at the dealership THIS weekend! I thought it was going to be NEXT wekend . . . AAUGH!! I don't think I'll be able to rearrange my schedule. (I have to fly down)

This is gonna kill me -- all this time I have been waiting for the MINI and now the MINI will be waiting on me! This is ironic and nuts!!

I don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight. In less than 12 hours, I'll be in Kansas. Sadly, I'll have to drive it 600 miles home on Friday. Poor me.

How do I figure out which boat our Mini is on? I know it's on the water somewhere. I believe it left on 1/19.

Does anyone know what the estimated delivery date in the OL actually means?? Does it mean delivery to VDC or delivery to dealer or delivery to customer??? Because mine says that TODAY is my estimated delivery date and my MA is out of town till Monday. I am fairly certain that my car is still at the VDC but I was wondering what everyone else thought.
