I am being "told" that I went into production this week. So technically a January build eventhough I was a Feb build two weeks ago. We'll see, the dealer has been kind of secretive but today seemed a little more real. We talked delivery at the end of next month. I thought I was a March delivery, but who knows. I guess I will have to track it on the boat and then figure it out.

Time to sell the car, and get the financing together! :D I hope this wasn't a joke or I am going to get

 

Your car will still probably technically be a February build. Most of us whose cars where finished in the 2nd week of January (11th for me) our cars were listed as "in production" before x-mas, which from my understanding meant that the beginning paperwork and parts allocations were made for the car, but it was not actually completed until Jan. 11th. Hope it comed in quickly for ya :smile:

I thought you just said you were from PDX?

 

I'm going to assume that the west coast will be coming via WW ships. I see that the Falstaff is scheduled first then the Otello followed by the Carmen. If this is true I would say that those sitting on the dock should be coming via one of the three ships. Again, im not a logistition nor am I responsible to load up our beloved new family members.

i do live in pdx, i ordered my car from cinci mini, i was not willing to pay msrp+ or wait until jan 06 to get a msc, west coast dealers seem to think they have the customer by the b@ll$, not true if your willing to have car shipped.

 

My MA just called and told me they expected delivery today, just like the EDD at the Owners Lounge said! I'll be motoring on Saturday!

I ordered from Cincy Mini, but my Bruno's about 1/2 way across the ocean by now, so probably a different boat. Who's your MA? If it's Amy and you haven't had a chance to meet her in person see if she'll take a pic of herself with your MINI. I'm a woman and I'm married, but no matter who you are, she's a hottie and really nice. She was one of the original chicks that worked the MINI booth when it was debuted at the Detroit autoshow a few years back, at least according to Cincy MINI's website.

 

Let us know if the low washer fluid light is on the right stalk. This was also going to be one of the changes for Jan production.

 

I saw that on the cars at NAIAS a couple weeks ago so I'm assuming that they will actually be on our cars . I think it looked pretty good.

 

A guy at 1-800-ask-mini said that west coast shipments often use NKS not WW. All I know is he said that my MCS got on a boat on 1/21 and is now at sea.

Ordered on the East coast, so know nothing about cinci mini. Just saw the site. IMO Amy's cute, but Rachel's the hottie. Any of y'all lucky enough to have her as your MA?

Sounds like you have a nice car coming. It kills me that they don't offer the tartan red seats with the conv. I don't get that at all.

Is anyone booked on the Manhattan Bridge? It's a K line boat. I just showed up as en route in the OL and from my estimations that is the boat that I think I am on as it is the only one that left SH in the time period I have.
