Finally The Owners' Lounge has caught-up and shows our MCS as En Route.

Of course it is just sitting in Belgium until tomorrow!

I know and you're right. I've decided not to whine about it any more so I am with the other guys that have decided to not be quite so **** about watching our cars come over. I would like to have it by Valentine's Day. No particular reason, for some reason that was just the day that I had really believed I would have it by when I ordered it. But the way it's going so far I guess I'll be happy to have it by the end of February. OK, like I said, I'll stop whining about it now

No doubt. OL just caught up with mine....5 days late. New record. Hopefuly the storm wont delay things. Can't imagine it will with a boat that size. Still...would prefer smooth sailing. 4 days until distribution center.

Well the Jingu Maru has left Belgium. Good to see...and on time pretty much. I think the biggest unknow is how long it will take at the VDC. I have heard from my MA that it could be anywhere between one and two weeks.

At least your MINIs have found a ride over. My cabrio has been at the dock for ten days looking for a way to get over here. Doesn't appear that there will be another ship headed for the west coast for at least four days.

That totally stinks JPit. Mine has been at the dock since Tuesday and I have no idea where she is now. She didn't get on the boat she was scheduled on and now I can't find her. I am calling K line tomorrow to see if she made one of theirs. I did actually hear back from ww. they asked a couple of questions and said they would try to find what boat she was scheduled for even if it wasn't their line. i thought that was nice, i guess it is because i got bumped from them originally. oh well. I am now just going with the flow since there is nothing more I can do anyway. My husband thinks it is all a gimmick and that it is just to get us worked up so when it finally does get here we will be thankful not ticked. hmmmm.

Interestingly enough, the OL says I have a estimated delivery date of 1/28. Considering the TRIANON is scheduled to hit NY on the 26, I dont think that will happen. That's OK, though because I can use the extra time to give my car one more shot on ebay before I resort to trading it in.

In my case, the OL shows an estimated delivery date of 1/30, which is next Sunday, so more like Monday 2/1. The Emden reaches Charleston on the 26th.

Lost at sea

This is my first post as part of the January Production group. I have been long awaiting my DS/Blk MCS (ordered last May...long waits here on the west coast). I have been tracking my MCS on both the owners lounge and 1.800.ask.mini. It changed status over the weekend from awaiting transport to en route. Now I can't find which ship it is on. I tried the WW website, but they say they don't have my car.

Any suggestions?

Its probably on a K line ship but without a booking number they told me they couldn't help me. The vin won't work. I am lost beyond that but you could get on their site and look at their boats that left this weekend and you might be able to narrow it down to one or two. good luck.

Your MA should be able to contact distribution and get a bill of lading number that you can contact K-Line with. My car was on a K-Line ship and I got the bill of lading number from my helpful MA.

HTH,

Trianon Delayed

Anybody else notice that the TRIANON now arrives on the 28th. Maybe the crew went sight-seeing for a couple of days. I know I stated that I was not going to obsess but this is pushing me over the edge.

Ihaven't been traking it, but if that's true, that really sucks. Could be because of the weather I guess. I imagine that blizzard we had is moving out to sea.

Madame Butterfly

Oswald is booked onto the Madame Butterfly. Any fellow passangers out there? I guess at this point I track it from the WW site? Any helpful hints will be greatly appreciated!

Higher Power-MA

I think I am going to have to ask for help because I just can't figure it out. I checked the K-line website, but I couldn't even find sailing routes to the west coast. WW still doesn't have any information on my MCS. Is there possibly a third shipping company used for west coast deliveries?

Any west coasters out there? HELP! I want to know where my baby is.

I think it is time I named him/her. So which is it? Are all MINI's hers? The website fondly refers to them as him's, but I think that is just their continued marketing attempt to make sure the MINI doesn't slip into the "chick car" category.

I'm presently code 193 (at the port of exit awaiting aride to the west coast). I too have looked for some information via WW and inserted my VIN # and nothing is showing up. I just plan on waiting another couple of days and checking again. I did see that there are several WW ships due out of Southampton in the next 30 days with a destination of Port Hueneme( Y-nee-mee). Then again I'm not sure is coming via WW or NYK Line? Anybody else have a clue?

Gus is the car name, masculine in nature due to the two nuts in the back

From what I can gather by looking at the WW, K-Line, and Port Hueneme sites, WW is the only shipper to bring MINIs to the west coast. All of them have to go through Port Hueneme. My cabrio has been searching for a ride for so long that it now owns the land its sits on in Southampton.

Nyk

I just spoke to someone at ask Mini, who was very helpfull. He said that my MCS shipping to the west coast is at sea. He said that it was loaded on the 20th or 21st on an NYK vessel. I haven't been able to find out any further information at this time. He said that there is usually a 22 day ship time to the west coast so it will probably reach land on Valentine's day.

Hope this information helps.

By the way, how does one get out of "neutral"?

Keep on postin'

It looks like you only have 8 posts here so far. I'm not sure what the milestones are on this board.

Where is everyone finding the tracking status code? When I call ASK MINI or look in the Owners Lounge all I have is a text description like "Awaiting Transport".
