Ugh! This is killing me! I keep waiting for word as my MCS had a shorter trip than yours on the truck. But I guess if it got in today it wouldn't really matter b/c we have decided to get the JCW package so I am trying to find out when they can install it. I think that this is the most worked up about it that I have let myself get. Maybe if it comes in today, I can go take Bruno for a drive to see what he feels like before the JCW :smile:

 

MINI delivered today at the dealer (D&R) Indianapolis, stopped by to have a quick preview. It is going out to get the custom leather interior and will be ready to drive home next Thursday or Friday .

 

Picking it up today about noon! Then a quick trip from NY to RI.

 

I'm ducking out of work after lunch to go get mine. I only have to take a train to the south side of town .....and dump a whole lot of mon-ay

 

Bruno is finally at the dealer Not sure when I can pick him up though as we're still having some discussions with the dealer about some dealer installed options, but I think I will go and check him out tonight!

 

Got the call today and my MINI is here - about a week earlier than the estimated delivery in the OL! So I went by to take a look and snapped a couple of camera phone pics. Can't wait to go in tomorrow and pick her up. It supposed to be around 65 degrees tomorrow, which should be about right for some top-down motoring :smile:

Has been great fun. Can't wait for top down season. Left the dealer top down on a spin with my gf just around the block before dropping her off at her car for the ride home. Great fun but cccccccold. I'll try and get a pick up tonight. The interior is crazzzzy bling. Absolutely beautiful! I'm glad I stuck with the white stripes. They really pop. When I drove into the dealer and saw picquick it was the best looking car on the lot. Total flash.

Went to a movie and spent a large part of it worrying someone would put a ding in the door .

Fun drive, great pick-up, but I've been gentle. Should have him a good part of the way to broken in by next week.

Hey, Andromcs, how did you get the bullet wheels on your MCS? I thought that was only available on the convertible. Or did you just pay for an extra set of wheels? Looks good, btw.

Paid for the Bullets...sold the SLites to a NAM member! As soon as our MCS got in, service grabbed it and switched the wheels for us, installed the Audio Input, mats and we are discussing the leather e-brake handle and gaiter. The price on the wheels was $858.80 which included a discount. Julie Saxa and Classic are really helpful in accommodating us buyers.

I concur...it does look good! I can't wait to drive it!

 

hey, i just had a question. my car should be delivered about the 1st week in march, but, how did you guys find out what boat your car was on????? thats cool.

The Don Juan docked in Charleston, SC on the 10th and
Mini arrived at Jackie Cooper BMW/Mini Dealer in Oklahoma City
today. I'm amazed!
Has anyone elses Mini reached the dealer that was on the Don Juan
that ported in Charleston??
Time line:
Ordered MCS on Jan. 8th
Car completed on Jan 23rd
Ship(The Don Juan) sailed from Southhampton on Jan 28th
Docked in Charleston ,SC on Feb 10th
Arrived at Jackie Cooper Mini today Feb 14.
