Custom Exhaust?????

I've been researching the forums for anyone that has had an exhaust system built using pipe and a readily available muffler (i.e. glasspack/flowmaster/cherrybomb), but haven't been able to find anything as examples of what people have used, and comparable sound. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We've seen at least one over the years, probably more. What I remember is that they couldn't fit the silencers in the rear section, so they put resonators in the center tunnel and then a single tube around the battery box and out the back. If memory serves, it didn't sound so good...

There is some good info on NAM about R53 custom exhausts. I posted a few threads for you below:

you need smaller mufflers, all the magnaflow products on their cat back are normal things you can buy, and I do believe I had the p/n for the muffer around somewhere. I think its 11366. and then resonators under the tunnel, most shouldn't have issue fitting there

My back box on my R50 is DONE, time to replace with a decent cat-back.
Located in Canada's capital.
My choices seem to be either Magnaflow, Megan, Borla.
Any other options?
Anybody have any preferred vendors you can point me to?

REMUS makes a very high quality and great sounding exhaust system for your R50 HERE. Lots of great reviews on their exhaust systems from numerous NAM members. Posted a few below for you. Let me know if you have any questions.

Shipping to my location is US$148. This brings the grand total to almost CAD$1200 with current exchange rates. I need to keep it under CAD$850.
Any Canadian sources?

I like the Milltek for the R50 , I have the JCW sound kit on the R52 and if i did not have that I would have the Milltek.
