Hose from radiator fill tank

So I was driving my mini yesterday, there was a bang of sorts, then white smoke/steam billowed from my hood. Saw the temp gauge going up. Pulled over and parked the car and discovered the above photos. It looks like I'm missing some sort of connector for that hose. One hose certainly doesn't just clamp to the other. Anyone know the clamp or connector that I need?
Thanks again guys.

Hm might take a look at the hoses here and the hose clamps here. From the photo it looks like it's one of these clamps:

A generic screw clamp or two and IMO, a new length of hose from the local auto parts store...
Bring the old hose...so you can compare the size, then buy some extra...say a foot more than you need...then cut to fit..
The hose will be sold by many places as HEATER hose...same stuff, carries coolant under pressure.

Looks like one of the connection on to of or near the transmission. Hard to tell by the pics.

You have a manual transmission , zoom out a bit for a better location and I can help you with the parts.

Thanks

Okay here is a further zoomed out picture, also included is this small diameter tube that appears to connect at the same spot as the above mentioned hoses.
