'04 MCS on order- couple of questions...
Hi Folks,
just found this site and wish I'd found it earlier! We ordered our '04 MCS back in November, and the mini website finally changed to 'Awaiting Transport'. What is the full telephone number for ask mini? Is it 800 or 888? I tried both but to no avail. Any idea how long our wait will be before we see the car? Our nearest dealer is in Portland, Oregon.

The Rasmussen wait is about 9 months, so I would expect your car in July/August.
Check out www.pdxmini.org for local events and drives. We have a 2 day drive to Crater Lake in late July, and a drive in movie meet in (I think) early August.

HOLEY SMOLEY...is 9 MONTHS the standard wait now? From order to pickup, mine took 5 months. If there wasn't a West Coast dock strike, I would have gotten it in 3.

Well I got my MC in 2 months at Mini of Charleston and when you ordered your car you got a production number use that to track the car Ask Mini will give you the VIN# when it is made. Good Luck Minis are fun...:smile: :smile: :smile:
