If Gabe at MotoringFile is correct, Kudos to Miniusa for keeping pricing the same. That means a 2005 base Cooper costs the same as a 2002 when it was introduced in April, 2002. I am sure they want to keep market share. The 2005 model will also have many improvements as well...

My dealer said they don't have official pricing yet on any MINI model or option. It's speculation.

I thought there was a price bump for 2003 models?

MC cabrio from est $20,000
MCS cabrio from est $24,000

I think there was also a price bump for 04 models. It was supposedly very small, ($14), but they didn't include the fact that most options also had a price increase, some considerably more than $14. The 03 to 04 increase for a typically optioned MINI was more like $200-300 than $14.

According to Gabe, no base price increases, but package price increases. A good deal all-in-all, if only the two spoke was still available...

As i'm very curious about the 05 Model, I went to the MINI UK Configurator & noticed that the 2 Spoke was still the standard wheel with the 3 spoke as an option.

That's not to say that the US spec. will be the same (unlikely) but it does give hope that it may still be an (hopefully $0) option if that's what you prefer. Unlike the Indi Blue paint & Lapis blue interior, which look to have been replaced.

I guess we'll just have to wait & see.
