P0138 Code 03' MCS
Hey Guys,
I've been a long time member who knows to search pass threads to find answers to my questions or interest. But I've had a code temporarily popping up that I finally had checked; every thread I've checked, has gone off the path of my current problem.
(P0138 code, voltage bank 1, sensor 2). I know this is the 2nd sensor behind the catalytic converter. It has been lighting up every couple of days for the last month. I'm about to hit 107,000 miles (reminder, this is an 03 MCS).
I have not gone under to check any malfunction/interference in wiring. I've taken it directly to a mini dealership for any repairs and none have dealt with exhaust (I have recently decided to STOP dealership repairs since I feel they are raping me financially).
With the few mods of an air intake and sprinter booster, I've ironically decided to upgrade the exhaust. But, I'm wondering if I should throw in a new 02 sensor as well since this simply might be the problem. Thank you for any advice you guys want to send. Much appreciation!

That code seems to be pretty straight forward. OBD-II Trouble Code here. Since that may be your issue and you're going to be in that area while you're upgrading, it might be a good idea to replace it.
