Got these tails from a friend, guessing they are eBays. They have a sort of carbon fiber look.

Where's the reverse light on the taillights? I like how they look but I just don't know about the light set-up. It looks like the bottom would be the taillight and brake light, the middle would be the turn indicator, and the top would be either rear fog or just a reflector.

The top is a reflector, and the clear is the turn signal. They look pretty nice I think. Not sure actually which is reverse, I'd have to have someone tell me.

You mentioned throw out bearing, how does the clutch pedal feel?

Here's a couple quick shots of the jcw matte grille. I think the glossy looks cheap the matte looks like oem.

Can't believe there's no engine shots in here yet, gotta do something about that so here's a couple; it needs a cleaning.

I think the original taillights looked a little cleaner but to each their own. Also, I think that you should do all the trim black or leave it all chrome. Just kinda throws off the continuity a bit to have chrome here and black there (again, just my opinion)

Otherwise its a great looking car man!

I agree, I tried to plasti dip the headlight surrounds but it didn't turn out, haven't had the funds for the handle covers yet. My wallet is my biggest obstacle.

I like the mods so far. It's equally refreshing to see you maintaining her as much as you're modding her. I'm sure you wish you didn't have to maintain as much to leave room for modding but the car is well on it's way. Creativity and using your own hands only to have it turn out looking good and getting compliments is worth the blood, sweat and curse words. Keep us posted!

Bought some new NGK wires to narrow down my strange hesitation issue, however I'm pretty sure it's the coil pack.(next on the list to buy)

By the way, the NGK wires eliminated the hesitation minis running flawlessly. Sad the $25 wires perform better than the 8mm set, the NGKs seat much better.

Looks good. Thinking of getting the Scorpion exhaust. How do the tips look and fit in the opening? Any issues fitting it? And last question, how do you like the sound?

Thanks

Thanks, tips look and fit good. They stick out a bit further than stock but that's a good thing if you ask me. As for fitment I had a shop install it but he didn't seem to have any issues, I had to tighten the clamps a little after the exhaust settled in but that's it. Sounds good I have a video from in my car but the windows were up so you can't hear much. Pretty quiet when if your driving under 3k RPMs, over that and she roars a bit. Pops and burbles are louder if you have an 05-06 mcs. I really need to get a better video but I don't have a go pro ,took this with my iPhone.
