JIC-Magic/Cross Project Full Cat-back Exhaust

As I was searching for a full cat-back exhaust for my MINI, I saw this exhaust on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/330556613905...84.m1439.l2649 I know JIC-Magic is known for great suspension on the market but I didn't know they also make exhaust systems. I searched online about this exhaust for the MINI and I couldn't find anybody who owned one. I messaged the guy on eBay so he can give me an insight about this exhaust but he gave me his number instead so I called him. He said the exhaust was discontinued long time ago because they couldn't sell them due to their asking price and the Chinese market started to copy their design and was sold cheaper, JIC exhaust was just sitting in their warehouse. I took the chance and purchased it. He helped me get this exhaust to Guam using DHX, he was very helpful and transaction was smooth. Installed the exhaust and I was very pleased with it. He asked me if I wanted a titanium tip for extra $50.00 but I opted for the stainless steel instead. Check out the photos and video of it.

The Install...

Ugly rusty stock exhaust!

Bolts and Nuts are all rusted out!

And there she is!

Video of the exhaust
The exhaust sounds louder in this video but its perfect when you hear it in person, its not that loud at all! This was filmed using my Canon 60D with Rode Video Mic Pro.

Mods: Alta 17% Pulley and CAI.

Yes, just check the eBay link I posted. Check his store and he should have the titanium one available.

A buddy has this system. In the flesh, build quality is topnotch! Unequaled Nippon-made goodness. Seen other known brands & none could come close. They're among the lightest twin-side exhaust systems in the market for the R53. Just way too pricey til the OP found them on sale. Great buy!!!

There's some very good quality Japanese exhaust system and parts that I have yet to see in the US for the MINI's, although admittedly I'm new to the MINI still. Most of them are pretty expensive, this one's not too bad, but after shipping you'd still be paying $1000 or so.

From that pic compared to what I've seen, I'd still say the Cross one looks a cut above. Bolts on nicely. Pretty sure single sided will weigh & cost less, though.
