P0705

Has anyone ever seen this code before and know how easy it is to fix, or if its even bad at all?

As of now my tranny is acting strange, the shifter isn't as smooth as it used to be before the code arose. It's a lot rougher and tougher.

P0705 Transmission Range Sensor.
You sensor wires to the sensor might be loose or disconnected.

Could that cause the transmission to act the way it does? Off a simple connection?

Can this possibly be the reason for shifting roughness though? I've read this but it still doesn't make sense. I'll give it a shot tomorrow

Perfect, thank you for your help. How easy is it to locate this connection.

Is there a possibility that it could be my linkage? My sensor is spotless. I was playing around with the linkage. And this is where my problem lies. It appears that I may be missing a holder or a hanger or a clip for it (something along those lines). I bottomed out and that's when the problems began. Please advise.

Eric.
