I just purchased a used MCS yesterday and would love to know all the info on the ASAP thing. Is there a way for me to get an account? I did not buy the car from a Mini dealer.

 

No, normal people do not get access to the ASAP.

I only have access because I am listed as german dealer for Mini and tuning, so I have full access to everything (like ASAP, Diagnosis,...).

You can give me the VIN and I can send you the vehicle information from the database.

Can you fill me in on ASAP, I did a search, and you can imagine all the hits that came up..

I'm sitting in front of my Mini dealer, waiting to pick up my new 2008 MC today. Is ASAP a dealer provided benefit I should ask them about it? It looks like some nice info on those reports!

Here in Germany every dealer has access to ASAP and other portals. Depends a little bit if you just do services or sell cars too, but the ASAP portal should be available to every one working as a dealer for/with Mini/BMW. I guess this should be the same in the states, do not see any hint why american dealers should have not access to this service.

Normally the ASAP is used to retriev installation-manuals for accessory, see the latest online-parts-catalogue and to retrieve vehicle information regarding accessories when doing work on the car.
