Nearly standard on all cars today, they are tested for hot climate. There is also a cold climate version, which uses other parts so the car gets warm.

After about what seems a hundred years and the last Mini I owned a 77 while stationed in Scotland in 1977-81, I'm close to perhaps reliving that dream of owning a Mini.
