RPM issue

Alright all you miniacs!! I have an issue that I've notice in Lili. Most days motoring, when she hits about 2200 rpm she seems to get a bit sluggish (rpms stay constant with no more increase for about 3 seconds). When trying to prove to a meat-head in an Escalade that being smoked by a clown car is emasculating this REALLY becomes an issue!! Any ideas? She only has 1600 miles and I'm worried!!!
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Also, how bad is it to plug a run-flat? I didn't have the $300 to drop the other day (a nail in the first month of getting her...AARRGGHH!!! )

you cant patch a runflat. but since yours is a 2g then im not sure, on the first gens that would sound like a bypass valve and since yours is turbo you dont have one of those

If its just a small nail hole and its not to close to the side wall it should be all right, or at least I would imagine so. Might want to do some googling there.

Any ideas about the RPMs. That's my biggest concern at the moment.

Hmmm...I think a run flat can be patched depending on where in the tire the patch is needed. My husband had a nail in one of his Vette's run flats and I'm almost certain it was patched.

runflats can be patched just like non runflats unless the hole is in the shoulder blocks of the tread.

As far as the "stumble," sounds like turbo lag to me, but from what I have read on the 08's turbo, there is nearly none. So lag is just a guess.

First, I replaced my stock runflats about 8 months ago w/Falken runflats, and had them installed by Goodyear. Had a nail about a month ago and they fixed/patched it w/no problem.

Second, I've complained 2 my SA about Scoopie 'revving' kinda high when I get around 2,500-3,000 rpms, but whenever they check it out, they can't find anything. I tend to think it's because I haven't changed the oil unless the SES light comes on and says it's time 2 do so. I think I'll find some1 2 just do it in between the regularly scheduled service, because I think a vehicle needs an oil change every 3,000-3,500 miles, no matter what the mfr. says. Driving around in DC's stop-and-go traffic has gotta do somethin' 2 a car!

Hope that helps!

Yeah think that I'm ganna call mine too. He's a fellow owner and former VP of the local club. Would probably be a good idea. Just afraid he can't "say" certain things b/c of work!!!
