CAI Dilemma

Here is my CAI dilemma.[

All are available for around the same price on coopersport.ca ($220.99 CDN).

Alta CAI
Helix Cooper S CAI
Mini Madness Cooper S CAI

I assume performance wise they are all going to be about the same so it really comes down to ease of installation and maintenance.
Any thoughts/ experience with the above choices would be appreciated.

Thanks

02 S

You will get the best performance from a foam filter. Much more surface area to trap dirt w/o compromising flow.

Personally, I chose the JCW for the following reasons.

1) Finished "factory" look
2) It has a top...
3) not just a thin bulkhead
4) can use a foam filter if you choose
5) easy to clean...and stays looking clean

My next choice would have been the DDMWorks.

I on the other hand like the stock look of the Dinan, and it also sounds amazing.

although I doubt a dealer will bring issues about the aftermarket intake, I just didn't want to hassle and went with the factory-looking JCW intake.

it's great, and it gets fantastic above 4500rpm weeeeeeee

I think I paid $225 for one a few years back, new, from the dealer.

I like my DDM, great build and sounds crazy. All up to you in the end just choose the one that you like the most and if you cant do that then flip a coin.
