I want to dynamat my doors. Does anyone have pics or a link to pics showing how to remove the door panels.

Dynamat is a noise suppression stick-on fabric (re:Foam) ...
... there are a few threads in the 'audio' forum, some with pic's that show door and Dynamat stuff ...
... and this one too : http://www.96k.com/mini/stereo/index.htm

Would luv to see some step-by-step on R&I the door panels too. Got a couple of rattles the dealership seems unable to find/fix. But should this be posted in the Interior and Exterior forum?

Put the dynamat in on both front doors and it made a WORLD of difference! No more rattles or buzzes! Sound system actually sounds louder? I had to do it with the door panel half hanging off though...as I could not figure out how to get the part that attaches to the door lock off, and did not want to snap it off.

In a nutshell:

Pry off the tweeter ring.

Remove the 4 screws holding the door panel on (3 obvious - one hidden behind the round reflector - pop it off with a flatheat screwdriver).

At the bottom of the door, pull/pry the door panel away from the door. It's held with expansion clips that will pop as you go across the bottom and up each side.

Once the bottom and sides are free, lift the door panel from the bottom toward you and it will swing up like it's on a hinge at the bottom of the window. Then lift it off the top.

How much are the dynamat stuff? I have some rattles when the volume and bass is turned up... this might be a good solution.
