I got a real chuckle from Radio Shack's latest flyer that arrived in the post yesterday (the back page shows "deliver to" dates of 8/26 - 8/28).

Could this be the reason that BMWNA has become adversarial? Are they planning to sell cars out of every Radio Shack? Hmmmm

Tomorrow's headline: Rat Shack sued by BMW N.A. for illegal use of MINI image

Funny, as a kid, I practically lived in Radio Shack, they had all the cool electronics kits, I stopped by my local store a few weeks ago and they don't carry any of that stuff anymore I have to give them credit for getting me started in my computing career though. They had the first affordable home computer back in the '70s

Yeah, that flyer is FULL of MINIs in all different colors. I thought it was a radio-controlled toy for sale at first... but, no, it's just Radio Shack hijacking the MINI's coolness and borrowing it for their own purposes.

If BMW lawyers let that go, but keep attacking this site, there is no justice.

Most likely, MINI/BMW paid for the product placement. Happens all the time in advertising, TV, and the movies.

Radio Shack- What's up with having to give them your home phone number to buy a battery?
