Remember, the headlight washers will only work with the headlights ON, and only every third "pull" of the washers.

on MM1, I had some light scratches from it's journey from Oxford to here - I also noticed a few light scratches on MM2 - nothing a little 3M Swirl Mark Remover or Zymol Cleaner Wax won't get rid of. Since I forbade the dealership from molesting my paint, I will be doing a total cleansing/polishing/waxing/detailing ASAP.

Cheers,
Ryan
P.S. like Pebbles said: PICTURES already! The car is as tight as a drum.

Monday will be more of a relief than "a great day"
Five; contact the dude that's buying my S-lite/Pirelli combo and do "the exchange"

Yes, Monday will be a good day when it's over - at the end of Tuesday

>>Traveler - what does the OL at MINIUSA say for your status and EDD?
>>
>> OL for me still says "at VPC" and EDD of, oh, today

Congrats to MCS2004. Enjoy these bonding days with your new car.

Ryan and lo_mini - 24 hours and counting. Watch out for those dangerous MII levels. Mine in a relatively stable 7.3 right now. It will spike again when I see the new picts on Monday.

Well, Traveler, the Tanabata's back on the map this morning, and it's in a place that makes sense, 48.0N 29.6W. I guess that map the other day was just some kind of typo or something. The good news is that it's moved about 10 degrees west in the last 36 hours or so, which seems like a decent rate of speed.

Ryephile - congrats on your car! You win the prize for having the first pic of your car on this thread. Can you believe they're getting rid of Indi Blue? Doesn't make much sense to me, but whatever.

Lo-mini - copngrats to you too! Can we get a pic?

>>Now there are two WCZ55's on the map. I've entered the Twilight Zone.

Congrats Ryan and LoMini ---

Ryan you sure have your work cut out for you!
But in the end, it's worth it!!
and it's good to hear you have a buyer lined up for the tires! It is perfect timing!

About the maps, I can see on the one map the full name WCZ5535 and it's right next to the JPPT. I guess on the smaller black map they cut off the names after 5 digits so there are two that show WCZ55...

and yes, I think it's funny that after watching for the JPPT for so long and never seeing it that now it's here everyday!

lo: waiting a few days to wax the paint isn't a huge deal; but remember the paint won't be protected until you do it. I'm sure I'll be taking the next two days off work

Cheers

>>Remember, the headlight washers will only work with the headlights ON, and only every third "pull" of the washers.

I couldn't find any documentation anywhere about how exactly they are supposed to work, but here is how they currently work:
The headlight washers will actuate the first time the windshield washer is used after the car is started and the headlights are turned on. They will not work again until the car is restarted. I'm guessing this is a programming issue.

Are you sure '04s are supposed to work on every third use of the washers be default?

Hey Pebbles, Happy Monday.

It's raining down here in FL, and I have a head cold. I need some pics of November Club Minis to brighten my day!

The Tanabata's at 45.8N 38.9W now, inching its way toward North America.

OMG... I'm so excited I think I'm gonna pee my pants!!

I think I have just successfully called every person I've ever known since the 3rd grade to tell them. Funny, no one really seems to care that much!!

Pray for a stall-free afternoon!!

Best of luck Spoonleg!

it's mixed news in my corner; my dealership's service department continues to suck, they can't get my car prepped until tomorrow

I'm somewhere between hopeless and raging pissed off. The MINI will have been sitting in their lot for 4 business days before I take delivery, which is horribly inefficient on their part. I believe they're just being ultra-slow and there's nothing wrong with the car, because it hasn't moved since getting off the truck aka they haven't even looked at it yet. It's frustrating that I could've had it Friday if they had their act together. The irony is I've had all my monetary and paperwork in place for weeks now I'm just waiting on them. Heads will roll if they screw up the car or programming during prep. I asked them to program the rear fog lights in the BCM, but not install the toggle row (they'll scratch it all up if I let them do it, and I'm for sure not paying labor charges for damaged goods)

Ryan- sucky to them! What a bunch of incompetent morons! I called my MA at 9am (right when they opened) because I couldn't contain myself anymore. I wanted to know when she thought my car would be delivered and when could I pick it up? It was obvious she had just bustled in the building and she said, "hold on. about 5 MINIs just got delivered. Let me see if one of them is yours and I'll call you back"

The next five minutes were anxious MII of 9.9 until she called and said "your car is here, when do you want to come get it?" WOO HOO! How's that for speedy service? She was gonna give it to me right then and there if I wanted it. I told her it needed to be later on because I had some stuff to take care of (like squeezing in an extra driving lesson, lol).

So I feel that there is no excuse for them taking so long to get MM2 ready, Ryan! They are lazy, that's what it is.

Traveler, the reason why you didnt see my precious baby yesterday is for the simple reason that she just arrived at 0915 TODAY!
