YEAH!! - I have been told by my dealer that my MCS will be built in October and delivered in November!
(Being in Canada, I don't have access to an Owner's Lounge - therefore I can't really track My Sharona's (LY/B) build progress).
However, I'd like to compare progress with those of you that are also waiting for a November delivery.

I'm forming the "Can't Wait For November Club" thread.

Waiting for delivery of our passion SUCKS! It would be comforting, I'm sure, to all of us Novemberites if we knew how each other's MCs and MCSs were doing.

So - add to this thread anytime you have any information about October builds and/or November deliveries.
Let's see who's the first to say "I've taken delivery - I'm out of the Club"!!

I was told my order would be placed in Sept.
My '04 MCS would be built in October and delivered by the end of November!

Woo Hoo! Here's hoping I'm in this club. Put my deposit down in May and have been told since then I'm scheduled for an October build. If I'm lucky I'll make November!

Thanks for the list of production codes, it's great I actually already have some accessories myself and will probably have more long before I get my car. Right now I have the glove box organizer and viper stripes I'll be installing on the car. I'm also trying to plan out a design for my whalen shifter and and planning to order the madness intake before the car gets here. I'll be halfway through break in by the time I get it home from the dealer! I'll have spent far more than my first monthly payment in accessories by the time the car is here

 

You are correct! I will be buying things over these 3 months so I'm not faced with having to purchase them all in November. It is easier a little at a time.

Thank you all! I find myself checking in on this site (and a few other MINI sites) several times a day. From my reading I see this may be a "normal" condition for Motorers and Soon-to-be-as-soon-as-my-car-gets-here-after-a-long-long-wait Motorers!

Oly - you are more than normal ! I can't use my company computer for personal things so I come straight home and get on my computer. I go to Bridger first to read any new news and then I come here to MCO!

Here's the latest news on the cost of the 2004s

Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey - August 1, 2003 ... MINI USA is pleased to announce pricing and specification changes for the 2004 model year. Even with strong and consistent demand for both MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S, both models will receive only a modest price increase of $24. This will make the MINI Cooper MSRP $16,999 and the MINI Cooper S MSRP $19,999, inclusive of $550 Destination and Handling.

Several options and package prices have also been adjusted for 2004. Sport and Premium packages are up only $50 from 2003 as is the optional leather interior and CVT transmission.

I think he said he'd call me in August with the production number. I guess I was pretty excited when I was there, because now I think back and I can't remember half of what he told me. and he discussed allot of things with me! Oh, well, I have time to figure it all out!

Your MINI sounds great! Red with same color roof! Really a hot looking car! You got some great insides too! I didn't do much on the inside, I put my money on the outside! Aren't these MINIs great? Getting to personalize the car is so special!

We do not have production numbers yet. We are here because of what we've been told. I was told "If you order your MINI today, You'll have delivery by the end of November". Later he said something about an October build and November delivery. So 3 weeks after placing my order, I read about others being told about October builds so I started our November Club!

 

Ok here's my spec so far...I'm iffy on the cold weather package b/c I'm hoping to move up north for graduate school.

ooooh! i CAN'T STAND IT! I went up to my MINI dealer today to play around with their MINI's (since I can't have mine yet...) and found out I HAVE A PRODUCTION NUMBER!! Estimated build is week 37 (or Sept 7-13) !! My MA hasn't called yet to finalize my order sheet but since I have a build date that can't be far off! TOO COOL!! :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

Does this mean you are leaving us to go to the October Club?? It sounds like an early delivery for you! - I am pea green with envy!!! Check with the dealer and if so, you'll have to join the October club !!!

I called my dealer today to add the Park Distance Control (PDC)... I think it will really give me confidence in going in reverse, which I am not good at!!

 

I don't think I'll see it before the end of October, I'm in Washington State and I think west coast deliveries take the longest. (Probably 8 weeks or so) Plus I don't want to get myself too excited by expecting it too early and then get let down. I was told October build and its in September so maybe if I plan on November I'll get it in October!

I thought about PDC but I don't back up often. I spent my "play" money on the H/K.
