BJ, thanks for being nice to MM2. I'm not sure if he'll be a spitting image of Mr.Motor, I almost hope not. I'm going to try to raise MM2 to be a more responsible and respectful MINI, so he stays out of trouble and sets a good example  ...So don't worry about him teasing you fine ladies, he already knows the basics of being a fine gentleman

Aren't MINI's fun!
Cheers,
Ryan

Your MM2 is a find young MINI! Like all younger siblings, they see the mistakes of their elder siblings and learn from them. Everything he has learned from Mr Motor will be his advantage over the other naive MINIs out there! Coming off the line with a little "street smarts" will help him in the long run.

He's at status 111 Order Accepted.
In 2 steps he'll be at 150 Production Started!
How exciting!

Yes, MINIs are fun.
BJ

MINI MINI MINI!!! I eat, breathe, sleep MINIs!!

I'm so excited to have a MINI playpal!

I heard that John Roberts screwed up and now they have all these back ordered MINIs on a waiting list because they went over their limit :???: That's too bad. I just moved from the FW area, and I'm glad that Momentum has no such wait! I paid my deposit on Aug 8, and Momentum put in my order and requested a production date of 9/5 (!!!!), but I was told the actual production date would be more like 9/26- to be confirmed later this week. So really I can't complain because I have less of a wait than most.

And I can keep myself occupied by going to the CWFNC page and looking at Sona's config over and over and over...

Welcome to MCO and The November Club 04CooperS and lo_mini

--->lo-mini, there are a few "how-to work a clutch" threads here, just do a search with the little "[search]" text just to the right of the forum drop-down menu.

I'll have you two added to the webpage later tonight.
Cheers,
Ryan

>>> This will be my 1st manual car so i sure do appreciate all the tips/hints i can get! >>

Don't worry lo-mini, you can ask your salesman to take you around a bit in the car, or practice with a friends car, but either way, in just 20-30 minutes of driving you will get the feel of it. 2-3 days later it will be something you don't even think about.

and lo-mini and 04cooperS - Welcome to the Can't wait for Nov club! You two are our first Black roofs! YEA ! beautiful bright colored MINIs with their black roofs!! oh, it's a wonderful looking car!!!

and Spoonleg - I'm with you! I keep going to the Nov Club page just to see Madeline with her Union Jack. I keep thinking "it's so British so red, white and blue.... So easy to love such a dear car" I also click on all the other links! It's a great web page - Thanks Ryan!

EVERYONE GO HERE:

I have a PDF Acrobat file of the current owners manual! I know it shows the old key, etc. . . but it's really interesting reading. How the seats adjust, what buttons do what, where the hood release is, etc...

If you'd like me to send it to you, E-Mail me and I'll reply to you and attach it !

bandreas@austin.rr.com

(I trust you so don't put it on a wall)

lo_mini---> you can absolutly have your dealership not drill your bumper, just make sure to pound them over the head with your request. You should get the front plate bracket in the boot during delivery, just in case. I know a bunch of people with MINI's in Ohio, and I don't recall any of them running a front plate, so looks like you should be able to get away with it

Everyone enjoy their holiday weekend, although I'll probley be around for it

I'm in Texas and the dealers may have to provide you the front bracket on the car because Texas law says you have to have both front and back showing. I don't realy know what the dealer is required to provide. If they'll just leave the bracket in the trunk and NOT drill holes in the front . . . that would be perfect!!!

However, my friend, ChefRichie - he has a hot Chili Red/Black MCS with a custom stripe -- He found a place that provided him with flat hole plugs. They match the color of his car perfectly. I saw the car and it looks good. I'll ask where he got them and let you know!

I have worked my butt off at work these past 2 weeks. One minute it's Aug 10th and the next minute it is Aug 26th. I had a bad deadline to meet for Friday Aug 29th and I had it completed on Thursday (woo hoo) I went to the office Friday - but left early! It is this 3 day weekend that will make me a human being again!

Time really flies when you are busy meeting deadlines and working late hours and it really drags when you are waiting for something.

I was out "on the town" tonight, and saw two MCS's, both Dark Silver/White (the most common combo, btw) It was fun anyway

...back to re-drooling over brochures and searching for more MINI-pics,

Hello Novemberites!

I was just bopping through to check up on my buds Pebbles and Ryephile and I was ) and none of the officers mentioned my "mysteriously" missing front plate. I don't know how strict they are in OH ...

I have been very happy with my bumper plugs, they look great as you can see here:

Hi! Hi!

Gosh! I love you guys! ) and none of the officers mentioned my "mysteriously" missing front plate. I don't know how strict they are in OH ...

Not exactly sure how stricted they are either. I guess not that bad considering my lil' bro has only been ticketed once and had his WRX for about a year now.

Those plugs do look good on your car. I definitely will get ahold of Eric to see what he can do for me. I guess if i inquire now i will definitely have it by the time i get my car.

Thank you ChefRichie !

I just love MCO !
I love MINI people and MINI cars!

I've found I can ask almost anything and someone will either answer me directly or give me a website to go to so I can read up on it.

>> I will brag on you a bit

ChefRichie did the stripe himself!
Yes! He designed how he wanted it and where he wanted it (it goes down the back too).
He bought the materials and did the work himself!!

I can't apply a Band-aide straight!

Thanks for the eye candy!

Mr Motor was nice.

The shade off the house and trees is perfect! I'm so happy I am 100% sure Madeline will be Chili Red and White, because seeing all the beautiful MINIs could make a person change their mind.

Ryan, I'm really glad you are sticking to the IB color with MM2. Your driveway deserves to have this look again!
