Well, I just finalized my order at the dealer. My delivery date is still 6-8 weeks from my estimated build date of 9/12.

I'll just be a member of BOTH the Oct and Nov clubs!

 

I just love it! You have an estimated build date! and yes 6-8 weeks from 9-12 is either Oct or Nov ... This makes you a member of both clubs! What fun!

Don't forget to give the October club your car's stats! They will love adding your MINI with it's same color roof to it's list!


and if anyone has been told they'll have delivery in Nov - join our club and post what your MINI will be like and I'll add you to our list! We are a small group now, but we will grow as people get their production numbers!!

I received a msg today that my MCS, which was slated for December production and February delivery, was now slated for October production and late October or early November delivery, which doesn't seem possible. Will verify tomorrow.

I ordered on Sat 8/9 and was told to expect delivery of my MCS in January for sure, but probably December. Apparently John Roberts in Dallas is just selling too many, so new orders are wait-listed to get production numbers.

But who knows, just _maybe_ it'll come in November! (Ok, I know it won't happen, but I can dream!)

Mattg - I'm in Austin and have been on a wait list at San Antonio MINI Center. I do not have a production number yet. I was just told "order today and you'll have delivery by the end of November" You are more than welcome to wait with us and if you end up changing to the Can't wait for December club, we'd understand!

I just placed my order today and I couldn't be more ecstatic. I have an estimated
production date of mid November, although that seems a tad early compared to some of the rest of yalls wait time. But they promised me a November delivery!
I can't even tell you how uber helpful this website and everyone's posts have been while fretting over the details of ordering my MINI! It feels totally surreal to say that- I ORDERED A MINI! This is the most exciting thing EVER- I am a new college grad and this is my first new car (financed by my first real job!). I am just in 7th heaven.

Are you freakin serious?! I just now figured out how to see my est build date (9/26- my little brother's birthday!). So that means Oct. delivery? Or maybe since it's so late in September it will make it a November delivery? How do you KNOW this stuff Ryephile (or should we start calling you The All Knowing)?

BTW CWFNC; I changed my color! (committment-phobe right here). New color: CR!!

Thumbs up from me on the color change, I like CR/W/W more than EB/W/W. Just my two cents, but keep the stock rear lights with the Red.

..and if nobody knows their production status, don't hesitate to call up 1-866-ASK-MINI, have your production number or VIN in-hand.

actually, I'm a spoon-CHICK

and let me just say that we are so LUCKY to have a seasoned MINI man to guide us through the abyssmal depths of WAITING!

I'm excited to think that perhaps my car will be ready in Oct! Maybe I should join the CWFOC also? Anyway I've heard that productions are running ahead of schedule, so perhaps I have a fighting chance of getting my car in Oct! Too cool.

I am uber happy with my decision to change to CR. I like the color of the EB in the catalogs (having never seen one in person), but then I started hearing about how the color actually looks a lot lighter than expected. I started to second guess myself, and so I said, when I picture myself walking up to my brand new MINI and getting behind the wheel, the color I see is.... RED! So there you have it. Never owned a red car, and I think the MINI is the perfect first for me.

I also think that the red tail lights look hideous on CR! It hurts my eyes to see all of these shades of red/orange marring the beautiful body color and breaking up the continuity of the car. I do worry about the "pink" effect that I've heard the white tail lights can have, but nothing that a little rewiring can't fix! I'm still up in the air about the racing stripe/tail lights anyway- guess I gotta see Ms Sona in person before I make any decisions about her cosmetic future!

PS- i think the white tail lights look ab FAB on the IB/W. I know you must disagree, but that blue is so stunningly beautiful, it just brings it out that much more to have the white lamps!

Please be the keeper of the list for me!! I can keep records OK, but what you do with the stats is amazing! You are terrific with it! Alphabetical order, stats by color, roof, etc... You have a talent here! It's not something a person learns, you have to be born with it!!! I can't believe that your 2nd Mr Motor will be in our Club!

OMG - MM2 may ride the ship with my Madeline! They will be siblings!
