Well I was a good and patient girl and waited a whole week to call MINIUSA for an update. Unfortunately, I am still at Code 111 with a production date of October 10th. I sure missed having this site down for a few days. I like to check in at least once a day to see how all of you have been. I am hoping all of you on the east coast will be safe this week. That Isabel looks frightening.

On a good note, I hope this does not age me too much, I was able to get some tickets to the upcoming Simon and Garfunkel concert. The concert will be in Sacramento, at Arco Arena on November 12th. I hope Mr. Gary will be here by that then so I can take him for a spin.

Well I just finished looking for an update on my car status. I am proud to announce that it is now awaiting transport. I am so happy!

I get mine in November. A Briish Racing Green/Black MCS, Alloy Interior, Leatherette, Silver Wheels, with Sport, Premium, and Cold Weather packages.

 

Add David and I to the 112 status--and we'll be holding hands with Pebbles as we move down the line as our production date is 10/3, too.

I think that from here on out I'm going to try very hard to NOT think about options, etc., so I won't question my build decisions. (Yah, riiiight.)

Say, has anyone else received the nifty email about the your gift CD selection, music presets, and other preferences that the dealership will set up before you pick up your baby? I must say that MINI does a spectacular job at keeping things fun during the long gestation period....

I have a stupid question about production dates. My PD is 9/26. Is that the day production starts or ends? I keep reading about people getting their cars earlier than expected... this misunderstanding may be the reason why. Also, when should I start seeing my VIN on MINIUSA.com?

Where's your car right now? We've all given status, where's your MM2 ? I really appreciate your color names. They are really great! Madeline's a Monte Carlo MINI! Those names are very creative. I guess the Silk Green and White was the Mint Fresh MINI ! Sorry!

Jet - as I understand it, the Production Date is the Friday of the week your car will be finished being built. Your MINI may end up with a built date of any day that week. The VIN is assigned when it is in Status 150 - In Que for the Production Line. I don't know how long it takes to get posted to MINIUSA. Maybe Ryan will know.

jet- i *THINK* that 9/26 is the date our cars should be finished. they should be starting production this week! yay! i often hear of MINIs being finished on their scheduled PD (like 9/26) and shipped off a day or two later. hopefully this will be our case, right?!

Jet - your Estimated Production Date (EPD) is the date your MINI must be completed to keep the production-line on-track. Typically, your MINI will be completed at least a few days prior to your EPD. My Mr.Motor had an EPD of March 15th, but was finished on March 9th, just to give you an idea.

...speaking of production, I got bumped to Status 112 ) What is your VIN#? ...and compare it with the ones in the October Club.

Good for you Ryan! You're at 112 with me and the ragdollcatz couple. I just know mcs22004 is also at 112. I just feel it in my heart because he's right here with us!

and BTW - I have to ask Dannette - Do you guys own a ragdoll ? I once looked into getting one but didn't because of my dog. What's your cat's name? Post a photo if you have one!

Pebbles, we are definitely Ragdoll people. We provide for three, and live to entertain them (they think). We bought our first, Mary, and a year later bought two more, a full brother and sister to her. In fact, they're all sitting here staring at me from their cat trees. Mary is a seal lynx bicolor, Elizabeth (Eliza) is a seal lynx colorpoint, and Wallace is an amusing lynx bicolor/genetic disaster. Good ones are worth every penny. We'll have to chat more off-topic!

I'll post pictures, but only since you asked--I hate to bore the non-cat folks. I hope the pics work--I've not submitted pics before on the site. If they don't, and anyone would like to see them, please email me privately.
