Well, the dealer called me today and said that he verified my car was unloaded Monday and should be in by mid next week. So the Owners Lounge estimate of 9/15 will be really close. Suprise, surprise, surprise!

Great news kevruss! I'm so glad to be proven wrong on my "information." But hey, at least I was wrong in the right direction! Now I'm gonna be checking my answering machine every ten minutes while I'm at work. Ugh! Tick tock, tick tock, why won't the damn hands move faster!!!

 

i switched to a car that arrived in ny yesterday moirning at 6am! Im so excited, someone must have backed out of this car and I got lucky!!!

I live in Philly and the car was unloaded at 6am yesterday morning.

Any ideas on when I get MY hands on it?

 

Plan on one week to clear the center, get to Philly, and then get prepped. Who is your MA? Did you go to Mini of the Main Line or Otto's?

 

I went to MainLine - I'm dealing with Amos - where did you go?

 

Also, with only a week or so to go - who is the best to talk to to find out where my mini us. Or at this point is there no one who can tell me?

Your MA at the dealership is the best place to go. If he/she can't tell you, fuhgeddaboutit!

My MINI was on the Tokyo Highway, and I got the call today that it arrived over the weekend. I get to pick it up tomorrow!! I'm pumped!! Fyi - my dealer is in Kansas City.

 

Hmmm...mine was on the same boat and will ARRIVE in St. Louis on Tuesday. I'll be (hopefully) picking it up on Thursday. I guess the KC driver sped or didn't sleep.

 

Mine was also on the Tokyo Highway. Called Memphis today and was told, "maybe next week". Said they didn't know for sure but they'd call me when they did know.

 

My dealer called and said he thought it was coming in today...but...it didn't show. He said he had like 25 coming in so there would be more than one truck. Apparently mine wasn't on the truck that showed up. He told me Thursday or Friday I could pick it up (assuming the truck shows up tomorrow). The Owners Lounge changed during the day today. It said 9/15 this morning then when I came home it showed 9/16 and still at the DC! Bottom line, I DON'T KNOW...and it's driving me crazy!!!

 

My MA said that mine was released to carrier yesterday. I am assuming that this is a good sign. I am hoping to get it this week.

 

My Chili Red MCS w/ white roof & wht stripes is at the dealer. The dealer just added the white tailights, chrome mirrors and aero bumper to the front (this took a while, had to be sent out to be painted) they are installing the clear 3M tape to the front bumper and I should have it by Friday.

I Can't wait, I plan on doing a lot of driving this weekend.

FINALLY, I have my appointment to pick up my car!!! I get it Thursday at 5 pm!!! YES!!!! The wait is almost over!!!!!

I have over 1400 miles in two weeks and am loving it. Today I let my wife drive the car to work; she called all excited..."I could really get used to this!" Uh-oh...

 

I pick up tomorrow. I am so excited.

I can't believe it...the owners lounge just changed within the last hour to "at your mini dealer"!!! It appears to be only about 1 day behind the information...so if anyone out there is concerned about it showing the proper information then maybe this will help you a bit. One day behind is not too bad! I am picking mine up tomorrow and it came in late Tuesday to the dealer. No bad at all!!!

Wuhoo! Mine just arrived at dealer. Just a few more days for accessory installation and I'll be motoring! FYI, like for kevruss, my experience with Owner's Lounge was that it was only about 1 day behind throughout the process...not too bad.
