R50/53 Can't Wait for September Club--time to check in!!!
Deli,
Thanks for asking. I've had my MC since 9/22/03 and have ~1500 miles on it. Took it back to the dealer, (200 miles one way), a week ago to get a coolant leak fixed. They pressure tested it and said it was OK. Tightened the hose from the overflow and called it fixed. I'm not sure yet that it is. Had the daytime running lights and follow me home lights programmed on. No charge after a minor, "discussion" with the Service Advisor. The Service Advisors job seemed to be to figure out a way to charge something, tell me it can't be done, or say something like, "you should have done that at the time of delivery". Once I started to talk to the Service Supervisor things got a lot better. First service impression not good, at least with the SA.
The car itself is great, the only real problem is that it attracks so much attention sometimes I'm afraid to park it and let it out of my sight. No problems worth mentioning other than the coolant leak.
Best toy I ever bought myself.

Doing great here...just hit 1250 miles, so I'm done with break-in and ready for some more aggressive use of steptronic mode on my CVT. I've had no quality or service issues. Like Deli, I've invested in lots of accessories from NAM sponsors...chrome trim, pedal covers, parcel shelf, static cling UJ sunroof flag, etc.
Next milestone for me: I have my Zaino starter kit and microfiber in hand and next weekend I plan to give it the full treatment: clean off the dealer wax, claybar, and as many layers of Z2 polish as possible.
