Here's a little more information it cost about $125 but you can program so many more things than just video in motion . video audio, lights, annoying seatbelt sound, it's just an amazing feature . you should check into it thank you

I think you dont understand me. I want to mirror my iphone to the connected screen. I saw in this thread some posts that is possible to do this but i dont know why this is not working in my car

 

I do understand but it's a pain because you have to jailbreak the phone I jailbroke my phone tried all the apps it never worked for me. The only thing that works for me is exactly what I described earlier but anyway good luck

I did exactly the same as described, yet, it works 1 out of ten times. Most of the times it gives black screen with iPod launched automatically even though I changed its name! Any clue?

 

Several things I did that helped I went to the mini dealership and had them upload the newest version for my mini connect system also what really helped me was when that would happen I would turn my iPod off and then reboot it I am running iOS 8.2

 

Also I spoke incorrectly I am not using an iPod I'm using an iPhone that is not connected to any server I only use it for music and videos in the mini connect armrest. And the most important thing do not run it under Mini connect run it under USB out when you connect .. Other wise it will never work...at least it never does for me

Hello!

I am trying to pretend to "play a video" and then use another video cable, not the one from the Iphone.

I tested with a backup camera using this setup:



But the result is this:


What can be the reason?
Maybe the display thinks the resolution coming in is same as the video from the iphone? So it has problems showing it?
Camera is: 628 x 582 PAL Signal System (I live in Sweden.)

Thanks to everyone who's contributed on this thread, I've picked up a cheap-ish Y cable and was given a hand-me-down 8GB iPhone 4. I've installed all the bits, I've been able to get display mirroring working reasonably well via the Plugin menu.

I'd love to get the full screen working (presumably via External Devices) but haven't had any luck with this yet.

Only other thing I've noticed (my main phone is an iPhone 5) is that the iP5 seems to support other apps being open when Mini Connected is open, whereas the iP4 drops the Mini Connected menu if the Mini Connected app isn't the current app (if that makes sense).

Also, is there any way to fix the audio delay when watching videos?
