How Can I Play CDs In My '22 MINI?

I don't want to go through the hassle of ripping CDs and I don't want to stream.

I've seen portable CD players with BluTooth and/or FM transmitters, that I thought I'd try.
I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has tried one or has an alternate solution.

Thanks.

IT WORKS!
Controllable from steering wheel.
Good volume.
Should've done this years ago.

It just fits in the glove box with room for a stack of CDs next to it.
I managed to squeeze the cord through the crack in the hinge.
It pinches when close, but I'm hopeful no damage will ensue.
The cord is just long enough without using the provided extension cord.

QUESTION: Title and artist info is not shown. Would that be normal, and only available on MP3s? Thanks.

Maybe this forum is dying, or nobody cares about cd's anymore.
But anyway, I discovered that it won't reconnect if it has set long enough for the power to turn completely off.
You have to eject and re-insert a CD.

It's this one.

I know ripping all your CDs is a pain, but playing off a USB drive is a much much better experience.

A CD will sound much better than any MP3 made from it.
If you're going to rip a CD, keep the file 44.1/16 bit Wav file.

I'm a Bluesman, & got Sirius/B.B. King's Bluesville Radio - but I got 1400 c.d.s I'm tempted to one day, grab one of those c.d. players. I like idea of pluggin' 'er in the USB & steering wheel op.

Is that a difference you can hear in a car with road noise in the background? I doubt it.

Yes, it is.

Here's my resume:

It doesn't include the hundreds of rock records between 1980 and 1990!!!

that CD player is so cool

I will be checking it out in a month when my car comes in. I have quite a few CD's. The quality is just perfect and I dont have to futz with things like ripping.

I would do CD to FLAC personally. The 2023 i sat in played a FLAC file fine. FLAC is lossless and quite small.

I personally hate slaving away at making thumb drives when i like the entire album a lot.

I will say again, that it doesn't always start right up when you start the car.
It'll say something like "unrecognized usb device".
I either unplug and replug the usb connector at the dash, or if there are bottles in the drink holders, eject and push back the CD.
The CD will re-insert itself after being ejected too, but I'm not sure if there's enough room in the glove compartment...I'll maybe try it today.
It doesn't do it all the time...maybe there's a secret, lol.
I broke out the CD wallet, too, although lately I've just been playing Sara McLaughlin's Surfacing CD over and over...I have to update my 'collection', lol.
