Awesome, looks like the combox is functional, you might have a mic already in the upper console wired ? Did you see one there ? On newer MINI i think its prewired.

I had Bluetooth installed with my boost/cd so all I had to do is extend the wires from the radio connector to the combox.

Combox Media 26 POL connector wiring:
1 Power T30
14 Ground
10 AUX GND
23 AUX NF L
24 AUX NF R
22 AUX BLNC
25 MIC+
12 MIC-
11 MIC BLNC

Retrofit success.

After the FSC emulator install everything is working as it should. I was able to update the map to the 2016 version, voice control works and now I have SiriusXM and Mini Connected.

Navigation retrofit

Hi I start my project .... Retrofiting navigation to my base all4 countryman.
Have one question I have already connected ccc and screen but screen does not show any pict. Just get white for the while and some lines I can see on it . Today I will go to coding it to my car but do you have expirience if you plug it and power up its should work or need to programed first to your car because I just thinking that screen is bad...? Thanks for any help or suggestion

You don't need to code the car for the screen to turn on. I did all my coding on the end. Make sure all your connections are good and all cables are connected as the second pictures shows on page 4 on this tread. Check your 8 pin connector on the side of the screen.

Thank you so much for your fast respod but do I need the combo box? I mean I prited out wiring diagrams and I connected the connector on back of screen 12 where is just 4 connected and the side connector which is 10 with sheeld gos to the ccc unit. But nothing no luck. I mean its same if the side 10 pin con. Is connected.

No you do not need the combox for the screen to work but you will need one if you want Bluetooth or USB/aux to work. Are you retrofiting a CCC or CiC?

I had regular radio and cluster so I instaled new cluster with screen cluster works good. And also the cd navi unit replaced my old cd radio unit .... And the joystick in midle.
Joystick works radio works but no screen yet ... The ccc was oem from countryman and screen was older R56 maybe thats why does not work? But screen its just screen it should work right?

I am sure that the dvd unit was countryman 2012 and screen/cluster was from 2009 but those statement about fitment said its fit countryman too. But you know they can say what they want.

The problem is that the Radio is a CIC and the screen is CCC they are not compatible with each other. They both fit in the countryman but they are two different versions of the navigation system. If you want to keep the radio than you will need a screen that have this connectors on the side. You will also need the display cable from my post on the 4 page of this tread.

Make sure that the screen is from a 2011 or newer Mini.

Yes Pin 1 is 12v, Pin 3 Ground, pin 5 Can Low, Pin 6 Can High. The CAN cables have to be connected to the back of the radio and the joystick. Also if you want navigation, voice control, Bluetooth, satellite radio and presets to work you will need an emulator between the radio and the other CAN bus cables. I posted a link for the one I ordered it was only $46 and it works perfect.

I would get a new speedo with the screen because I can't tell you for sure if it will fit your old speedo. I saw some on car-part.com for $125 with the screen. Just an FYI do not clean the screen with Windex it will take off the anti glare coating from the screen. I learned the hard way.
