MINIMALISM Analyser shows wrong mileage on iPhone
Anyone notice that it saves your trip mileage incorrectly? For example after my drive to work this morning it saved the trip as 49 mls when I went only 30. It appears to be off by a 1.6 factor. If it said 49 kms it would be correct. I am thinking they have mls and kms mixed up.

Sorry for the cross-post, but was curious if anyone here is having issues with voice commands since upgrading to iOS5?
I used to be able to say "Phonebook" to get a list of names to dial. Now I get an error and no response from the system to ask what name I'd like to dial.
In my '08 Clubman, you could say "Dial Name" or "Dial Number" and those commands don't seem to work either.
Anyone else experience something similar or have a new list of voice commands?

When I asked MOG last week they said it would be out in October. I'm trying to get a response out of MOG now :(

This is a good thread. I don't have an iPhone nor Mini Connected (but am interested). What's MOG? And does anyone have the 4s model working with Mini Connected yet? I assume the voice commands are with the car (not the phone). I wonder whether the 4S connection will allow one to utilize the virtual assistant (forget her name) on the phone with Mini Connected.

That functionality IS ALREADY THERE... it just doesn't work with the iPhone!!! Go here: http://www.mini.com/connectivity/
- Click BLUETOOTH
- Click COMPATIBILITY CHECK
- Select CONVERTIBLE for car
- Select AT&T for carrier
- leave "Show all tested mobile phones." selected and click NEXT
It should then show 18 devices supported. But look closely on the right-hand side of the screen; and Check OFFICE (Manage email, calendar and notes.); only 5 phones come up, none of which are the iPhone; which is the ONLY one which works with Mini Connected.
I can try to post some photos of my actual Mini owners manual which even has documentation for this functionality. It's called Mobile Office. And yes, it does reminders and calendar functionality and SMS MESSAGES! Safety more than anything, should be driving SMS message support.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Oh. By the way, I do not own a mini yet but am looking into getting the Mini Countryman All4. Options I'm looking at are the sun roof, Connected with out the Navi, Cold weather, Technology package, True Blue color with True Blue top, Black sport stripes, Polar white leather seats.

MOG is working on bringing their app to mini connected, which will allow music streaming, but for some reason they are taking forever to get it out.

Getting really pissed at BMW/MINI for not releasing MOG support yet.
I emailed MOG and they now just stopped responding all of a sudden so now I will inundate them on their Facebook page along with the MINIUSA page until I get an answer.
I wouldn't be so pissed if they didn't stick the stupid thing in press cars for the Coupe touting that it would be out in October.. likewise taking the service to TechCrunch and having them report the same after their impressions.
Enough talk.. release the damn thing.
