Have you upgraded your alternator or thought about it? Are you running an optima battery or something? I've been looking around for options but haven't found anyone toying with the alternator on a MINI.

Wouldn't that speaker plastic holder bend into shape when it is all tightened down?

This is an insane build btw.

been working on the back lately, i dont have much more left to do really as far as the trim panel in the rear goes. i love how its coming out.

cut out the rear trim panel, although i knew it wouldnt fit, so i had to 2 piece it to get it in the car.

drivers

passenger

all i gotta do is make a little triangular piece to cover over this mess, and im done with the rear trim panel.

im thinkin since the headliner, side panels, are suede, im thinkin of black vinyl for the trim panel i just put?? ideas here please.

raising the floor a little, this is where ill put things like excess wire, fuses, my 3 way crossover, etc etc. (under the floor)

the floor will be suede as well, thats why i think suede top bottom and sides, then the center trim panel would look good accenting it in vinyl

closed the sunroof, need to cover this in suede, and it wont look bad at all.

this is what looks bad, but no one will ever see it, the sunroof DOES still open though, its just pointless since its sealed off. its very stiff, ive got the 3/4", then a layer of Peel n Seal, then 1/4", then another layer of peel n seal, then the final 1/4" which you see from the inside of the car, which will get sueded.

i might need to get some 1/4" hardboard or something (it bends quite a bit) and make another trim panel, cover it, then attach it.. unless i can cover the one thats on there now, without it having crappy edges.

i might be able to tuck it behind the panel using some hard plastic or something ..

ideas?

What do you have in mind for that?

Anything for performance to make up for all of that weight???

down the road maybe, but in a year or so i wanna get another car, something to NOT put a wall in LOL.... both my Mini and my explorer have walls LOL...i want something with 4 doors, just a practical everyday car.

as far as paint, its going to stay black, i dont want to change colors, so i dont have to have the door jambs, and under the hood repainted.

so its staying gloss black, but im going to do flat black stripes, like MR GBMINI (dont know if he still has them, but i love those stripes he had)

i might have them painted on, rather than doing vinyl. stripes from the front bumper, all the way up the hood, roof, hatch, and back bumper.

the gas cap, handles, etc, not sure if i want those gloss or flat yet, and the arches, those are going gloss to match the body.

the spokes on my rims (the chrome ones) are going flat black, to accent the gloss black wheel

my current paint has swirls and a few dings from other idiots, and i just want to get it all fixed, and re painted. wont be much over a grand, i know a guy, and i help him take things off, like the handles, arches, etc, and he does the body work.

MINI emblem on the hatch will get shaved as well. i already shaved the "cooper s" from the hatch.

then i need my coil overs.
